Alec was brushing his teeth at the moment and was about to get ready for bed. It was weird that Magnus wasn't around because on their short trip Magnus was always somewhere around the house. Alec had to admit it was quiet nice that the person you loved in such a beautiful kind of way was always there. It was also really good to have this person around you knew you could talk to without a filter and could just say what you thought. Of course they wouldn't call each other mean words when they argued but they could openly talk about their feelings. They could say what they felt and knew that the other one wouldn't judge them. Both Magnus and Alec decided that they needed a few moments now for themself to process all the things that happened during their trip tho. They just wanted a bit of time to let all the different feelings sink in and breathing a little alone. Magnus went home after they all ate at a diner and both wanted to put all their things back in place in their rooms.

Magnus was currently reading through some documents which Ragnor send him and tried to distract himself. He was really nervous about the meeting with Mark tomorrow and he was scared that the truth would dissapoint him. He was scared that the truth wouldn't be that what he wanted to hear and to be honest Magnus had no clue what he wanted to hear. Magnus wasn't that nervous when Alec was around and it was also fine when he was alone...for about two hours. Magnus started to think about it more and he had now a few thoughts about it. He was scared that his hope that was build up all these days would be shattered and he was scared that something he believed all this time wasn't true. Magnus was sitting on a fench. On one hand he wanted to have his best friend back and on the other hand he wanted Jadon to be dead. Magnus felt so terrible for that part in him who wanted Jadon to be dead but it was comprehensibly. Magnus only wanted him to be dead because he was worried. He didn't want to believe that his best friend would lie to him and fake his death. He didn't want to believe that all this time Jadon could have taken this pain away that his death caused and he was scared that this betrayal would hurt even more. Magnus was afraid that being so betrayed by a person who you thought  would never lie to you would hurt more than their death could. A long sigh escaped Magnus lips and he leaned back in his chair playing with a pen in his hands. He felt like drowning in all these thoughts and right now he wanted nothing more than having Alec here with him. He thought a few times about calling Alec but he was sure Alec wanted now some time for himself and Magnus didn't want to keep him from that. The sound of his phone vibrating pulled Magnus back to reality and when he saw the contact on the screen a soft smile covered his lips. Alec was already in his bed when he felt how big it actually was and he wanted to call Magnus so he could at least say good night to him over a phone call. Alec also wanted to make sure that Magnus was okay because Alec knew the meeting tomorrow scared him but he didn't want to seem like an overprotective boyfriend scared that he would annoy Magnus with that.  "Isn't it time for you to sleep already, Sunshine?" Magnus asked teasingly trying to hide his worries and Alec rolled his eyes a bit but smiled. "I was just calling to say good night. You're alright?" Alec answered because the happiness in Magnus voice was too much to be honest and he could hear how a sigh left Magnus lips. "Yeah...just a little worried about tomorrow." Magnus replied while a slight smile spread over his face because he was surprised how Alec knew him. "I'm sure it will be alright and I'll come a little eariler tomorrow so you can't think too much about it." Alec suggested and to be honest right now he wanted to sit in a car and go to Magnus right away. Magnus sat on his chair and thought about Alecs words he told him one time when they sat together. 'I'll always be there for you.' Alec said and Magnus came to a conclusion. "Can you please come now?" Magnus chokoed out and Alec was glad Magnus actually asked him. "I'm on my way." Alec answered getting up from his bed already and Magnus was really relieved when he heard that Alec would come to him. "Sunshine?"  Magnus asked after he heard shuffling in the background and was wondering  Alec just left his phone. "Yes?" Alec answered clearly not just leaving his phone and was on his way dowstairs. "Be careful." Magnus said playing with the pen and Alec smiled to himself. "Sure...I'll see you in a few minutes." Alec answered before he hung up the phone and Magnus could let out a breath he was holding for a few hours now. "Daniel? Can you give me a ride to Magnus?" Alec asked Daniel who was a guard that took the nightshift usually and Daniel rose an eyebrow. He was one of Marks team and was just as strict as Mark himself but he could be funny too. "Magnus needs me...if you don't drive I'll go by myself." Alec answered passing the guard and he heard a loud sigh. "Don't you dare getting in that car! I'll drive." Daniel was  not happy at all because nights were not safe right now for them but he knew by now that Alec was stubborn. Magnus needed Alec and there wasn't a thing in the world that would stop him from getting to his man...//tbc I will be nice today and tell you right away that nothing on the way to Magnus will happen💙❤
