Back in New York

"You got everything?" Magnus asked and closed the back of the car. "Yes...do we really have to leave?" Alec asked with a slight pout and Magnus smiled softly at him. "We will come to this place again...but to be honest I don't want to leave either." Magnus answered with a little sigh but it was time for them to head back home. They spend a whole week in Jakarta enjoying the time together and just having fun but now they were on the way to the airport. Alec really missed his family but he was sure he would also miss this place because he really liked it here. Everything went fine and they landed at the airport at 2pm in New York. "Wow...that flight was long." Alec chuckled walking with Magnus hand in hand through the privat area of the airport. Their flight was long but it was quiet and both slept 8 hours of the 21 hours flight. "Thanks again...for taking me there and showing me the world." Alec added a little shy and Magnus smiled brightly at him really happy that Alec liked their little trip. "What about New Zealand next month?" Magnus asked making Alecs eyes wide and Magnus couldn't stop himself from laughing. "I was kidding...but I will surely take you there. Now we will see your family first." Magnus said knowing that Alec missed them really much after the week he didn't saw them and Alec flashed him a quick smile. "Did you hear anything from Mark...you know about Jadon?" Alec asked carefully knowing this was a sensitive topic and during the whole trip Jadons name never fell expect this one evening. Magnus was thankful that they just could enjoy the trip and leave Jadon dead for a few more days. "I have a meeting with Mark about that tomorrow." Magnus answered tensing a little bit and Alec squeezed his hand comfortingly. "However the meeting will turn out...I'll be by your side, okay?" Alec really wanted to support Magnus and help him through that crazy time which Magnus really appriciated. It was really nice to know that you weren't alone in times you were scared or felt pain. "Thanks, Sunshine. Would you go with me to the meeting then?" Magnus asked suddenly he being the one who was shy and Alec stopped to walk making Magnus look at him in confusion. "Of course I will go with you! Don't worry you don't have to do this alone!" Alec exclaimed with a firm voice to make sure Magnus could count on him and Magnus was relieved. "I'm really happy to have you." Magnus said softly and cupped Alecs face with his hands. "I'm happy too." Alec answered with a small blush on his cheeks and Magnus placed a sweet kiss on Alecs lips. "Alec!" A little voice sounded through the room and they pulled back seeing Max standing with a big grin at the entrance door. "Max!" Alec exclaimed and opened his arms for Max who quickly run towards them. Alec caught Max and lifted him up from the ground hugging his little brother tightly while Magnus was watching them with a soft smile. "I missed you." Max mumbled in Alecs shoulder and Alec smiled happily. He was really happy that he could hug his brother again even the time in Jakarta was amazing. "There you are!" Robert just entered the room and smiled at them. "Dad." Alec said still carrying Max who seemed like he didn't want to let go of his big brother ever again. "You got some color, Boy!" Robert chuckled and hugged his sons. "Yes...the weather was great!" Alec answered pulling back from the hug after a few seconds and Robert brought his attention to Magnus. "Magnus, it's good to see you! I hope you enjoyed the trip." Robert said and all to Magnus surprise Robert hugged him. "It was great." Magnus chuckled a little overwhelmed by the hug and Alec smiled brightly. He loved that his family got along so well with the man he loved but he couldn't imagine that they wouldn't have loved Magnus. It was just not possible to hate this man because he was perfect in everything he did and he had such a beautiful character. "Now you two Dorks, did you miss me?" Izzy asked walking also inside the little hall and hugged Alec before she hugged Magnus. It was long over that Izzy held her self back and now she was teasing Magnus like she was teasing  one of her friends. Magnus had to admit that he really missed to have this. He missed it to be not treated like a celebrity and that was what he liked the most about Alecs family. They treated him like a normal human being and not like a famous celebrity. In the Lightwood family Magnus was just Magnus and not the famous Magnus Band who was an actor. "I missed you, Isabell." Magnus chuckled when he hugged the young woman and they pulled back after a few minutes. "Where is Simon?" Alec asked when he saw that he wasn't here and thought it was strange. Since Izzy and Simon were together you could only find them together. "I'm right here, Alec! You thought I would miss to say welcome back to my favorit man on the world?" Simon teased and Alec rolled his eyes but smiled. "Hello to you too." Alec answered with fake annyoance but he was really glad that his sister had a man with good manners on her side. Alec could only say that right now he was proud of the life he had and he was proud to be able to call the people in his life his family that only grew bigger with Magnus...//tbc I hope you like it and have a good night or good day❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
