Known for awhile now

Sean Lew's POV

The first two weeks were uneventful
Not boring just no real drama with my friend group
We usually let the rest of the school handle the drama part

So yeah just classes, hanging out with my friends when I can, and annoying homework

I'm getting back to how things used to be before I left

Just one roadblock I'm experiencing...

"I love you," Gabe said to Kaycee

"I love you too," Kaycee said to Gabe

"I love you more"

"No, I love you more!"

"No, I love you more!!"

"No, I will throw up!!!" Julian joked yet telling the truth

"Whatever you're just jealous," Gabe said

"Oh, yeah like I want someone to devote all of my love, energy, and attention to... Dang I want a girlfriend" Julian said which I had to agree with, too bad my crush is taken

"I mean you got two girls right here," Kaycee said pointing to Bailey and Tahani who started to pose dramatically as if they were models

"Nah," Julian said

"Wow rude" Bailey said acting offended

"We didn't want you anyways!" Tahani said actually being offended

"Nothing personal you two are just not my type," Julian said

"Anyways I'm heading to class tonight" I changed the subject

"Really? I thought you were going to take it easy for a month," Kaycee said as I told her no dancing for a month as I was training intensely back in China as it was basically my downtime, personal time and work time

"Yeah, but I can't help myself I love dance, anyone want to come with?" I asked my four friends

"Can't, I got stuff with my mom?" Tahani said which I understood

"I can," Bailey said

"So can I," Julian said

"Great! Kaycee?"

"No, Kaycee and I got plans tonight," Gabe said as he wrapped his arm around Kaycee

"Ok..."

"Sorry Sean" Kaycee said which I can tell she is apologetic

"It's fine, go have fun... I mean have a good time... I mean," I said as I don't want to imply...

"Sean it's fine, it's just dinner," Kaycee said trying to reassure me

"Right..."

After class
In-n-out

"Ok you need to talk this out," Julian said

"What?" I questioned what in the world he meant

"You and Kaycee," Bailey said

"What do you mean?"

"You're still in love with her" Julian said

Fortunately, or unfortunately Julian, Bailey, and Tahani all know I love Kaycee

"How did you know I didn't move on?" I said shakily as I'm not that good of a liar

"Dude it's obvious," Julian said

"Yeah, the looks you give her, how she always has your attention when anything about her gets mentioned, It's obvious" Bailey said

"Wow, how long have you two known again?" I asked as I forget when they found out

"How long have we known you again?" Bailey said

"Ha ha" I sarcastically laugh

"No, seriously we noticed the day we first saw you two together freshman year," Julian said "Yep you were walking arm in arm first day of school and everyone thought you two were dating, later we and everyone learned you were just best friends"

"Wow does Kaycee know yet?" I had to ask as too much has happened since I was gone and it could have been slipped out

"Nope if you're obvious she's oblivious," Bailey said

"What should I do?"

"Hard to say," Julian said

"What do you want to do?" Bailey asked me

"I don't know I guess I was always concerned that if I told her and she didn't return those feelings it would ruin everything. She's my best friend, my neighbor, our families love each other, our sisters are best friends, it would be too awkward if something bad happened" I said

"Plus, you're a coward," Julian said

"Thanks, bro," I let my sarcasm leak out

"No, seriously everything you said is a what if for that social part of your life you don't want to happen that I know doesn't matter to you that much, sounds like you're afraid you'll never get her for that romantic part of your life, and lose her," Julian said

"Perhaps" Not denying what he was saying

"Have I ever told you how Kenneth asked me out?" Bailey asked me

"No" I knew but Julian didn't so I just let her talk

"He came up to me before class and handed me ingredients to make bacon, and asked if I wanted to make it real" Bailey said

"Hahahahaha" Julian laughed even I chuckled a little as it was silly

"Laugh now but it worked," Bailey said "And for Kenneth and I, is that we know we go to the same classes, we take dance classes so we'll likely see each other if it didn't work out"

"But..." as I felt a but coming

"But back then he just wanted to be with me and that's all he wanted and wasn't concerned about the future," Bailey said

"You two broke up though," I said even though I know it still hurts her

"Yeah... But you and Kaycee are different" Bailey said

"Why's that?"

"Dude if you don't know we can't tell you," Julian said

"Look I can help get Kaycee to get rid of Gabe" Bailey said

"No no she's happy with him, I just want her happy"

"But she would be happier with you" Bailey said as I just shook my head and return to my food "We all don't like Gabe"

"I wouldn't say don't like" Julian said "I just see him as an obstacle for you, I don't hate the guy"

"Well Kaycee does so I have to be nice, and so should you" I said as Julian nodded along

"Sean... I don't know how you can be like this when the girl you love is with someone else" Bailey said

"Trust me I get pissed more and more everyday"

"Who you angry at?" Julian asked me

"I don't know"
