(So here's a little bonus chapter I that I wrote in like 5 minutes)

(Also inspired by the stupid controversy around Kenneth San Jose)

Thursday

Tati Mcquay's POV

Lunchtime

So, the six dancers I've become best friends with got me caught up since I wasn't at the weekly game night last night

I'm happy for Bailey and Josh

I think it's crazy that they're moving to New York together but I'm happy for them

"Finally, no more tension!" Tahani cheered as Sean and Kaycee we're happy, Bailey and Josh we're back together, and even Julian feels better since his break up

"I know right, I'm tired of fighting," Sean said

"Yeah and no more assholes either," Bailey said "Sorry Kayc"

"No, it's fine I've gotten over it, Kenny was an asshole," Kaycee said as we all looked at her shocked

"You cursed..." Julian said

"I'm so proud of you" Josh commented as he hugged Kaycee

"Oh, no Josh is cheating on Bailey," the familiar voice said

"Leave Kenneth," Bailey said

"Oh, come on! I said I was sorry!" Kenneth said as we all looked at him unconvinced

"What you did was wrong, inappropriate and so many other words I can't even think of," Sean said

"Look I just wanted my girl back instead of her being with this little n**** here," he said

Josh got up slowly walked up to Kenny and punched in right in the face

It didn't take long before people came over to watch the fight and record the beating Josh was giving Kenneth

"Fun fact about my man, he was interested in martial arts like Tati here before he found dancing," Bailey said "First-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do"

She was a little too proud when she said that but I couldn't blame her

"Doesn't that make him a human weapon?" Kaycee asked as Bailey and Tahani cheered on the fight/beating and Sean and Julian were standing by to make sure Josh didn't kill him

"Not really, only when you're a master and I'm assuming Josh got the belt when he was a kid so his hands and feet aren't legally a deadly weapon," I said throwing my two cents of knowledge in "But if it was me... well..."

"Good to know" Tahani said

A teacher came to separate them only to be kicked by Josh by accident

It took three teachers plus Sean and Julian to restrain Josh

"He's so cute when he gets mad," Bailey said as we were now concerned for her

"I'm pretty sure he almost killed Kenneth"

"Nah he was able to walk," Tahani said as Kenny and Josh were sent to the principal's office

"Plus, I think that was more of a pent-up aggression then a random outburst since freshman year," Julian said

"Yeah, the first fight with Kenneth freshman year, the flirting he would do to Bailey when they were together sophomore year, when he and Jay ganged up on him junior year plus any instance where he saw Bails and him together" Sean said "There was a reason he used to always go to the gym before becoming friends with us"

"You think he'll get suspended?" Kaycee asked, "or worse?"

"Nah," Tahani said

"Why not?"

"Our principal is black" Tahani answered

After school

We see Josh came back neutral

"So..."

"I got detention for a while" Josh simply said as we exhaled a breath

"Thank goodness," Bailey said as she kissed him

"Yeah once I said my side our principal pissed at Kenneth and almost gave me a pass," Josh said "between the bullying, bad language, provoking, and the final straw of the child pornography Kenneth will be happy with the suspension he got"

"That's good you had me worried," Kaycee said

"So... Boba?" Julian said

"I'll drive," Sean said

"Me too"

Boba shop

I took a sip of my drink and I sighed in delight "Much needed"

Sean and Kaycee were sharing a drink with their two straws in one drink

Bailey was letting Josh sip hers as she sits on his lap

and Tahani and Julian were talking about something in their corner

I knew I was the odd man out of this friend group, part of it was because of my thing with Sean, another part is I'm the only non-dancer, and where they almost exclusively talk to each other I had other friends I could talk to but I really did appreciate each and every one of them

"Hey Tati, want to take a class with us?" Julian asked me

"Class? We just got out of school"

"Dance class silly," Tahani said

"Dance? I don't dance"

"I know you can," Kaycee said

"Not a chance"

"If I could do this well you can do that" Josh said doing a whip and nae nae

"But I don't dance," I said "And can we stop reciting lyrics?"

"Aw man I was ready for my solo," Sean said

"But yeah Josh needs to blow off some more steam and dance is fun and relaxing so why not come?" Bailey said

"I've never taken a class"

"We're just going to an intermediate class, it's just repeated movements like martial arts just to music," Julian said

"Please!" Kaycee said

"...Fine"

"Yay!" Tahani cheered

They took me to a choreographer named Matt Steffanina and...

I think I fell in love with dance...
