Punching bag

After school

Gabe and Kaycee kept making out right in front of Sean

Sean Lew's POV

"You seem more pissed than usual," Tahani said to me

"Why would you say that?" I say

"You're turning red and blocking my locker," Tahani said moving me out the way

"Sorry Tahani" I apologized as my emotions are getting a little out of control

"It's okay just go to the gym to work off some steam" Tahani suggested which I agreed with

"Thanks"

Gym

The gym wasn't big or crowded but it had enough people in it making hard for me to lift weights or run on a treadmill

I saw an open punching bag and headed to it

I wrapped my hands put on my gloves and started to wail on it

Unfortunately, one swing was too hard and hit me back knocking me down

"You need a partner for this" a familiar voice said

"What?" I turn to see who it was

"You need someone to hold the bag if you're going to punch it this hard" Josh said

"Why help me, Josh?"

"Are you going to punch the bag or not Lewser?" Josh said getting behind the punching bag

I started punching and the bag wasn't swinging like before as Josh held it in place allowing me to let loose

"Who pissed you off Lew?" Josh asked

"I'm not angry!"

"Bullshit you aren't." He said calling my lie

"...fine you're right"

"What happened?" Josh asked

"I keep getting reminded of my mistakes and regrets," I say as I keep punching the bag

"Like..."

"Just being too slow," I say as I just reminded myself of opportunities when I could have confessed to Kaycee

"That's silly"

"What?"

"My whole thing is everything happened for a reason, whatever is upsetting you might be your fault but so is all the good stuff you've done so far," Josh said

"Like what?"

"You seem to have friends that care," Josh said referring to Julian, Bailey, and Tahani

"Says Mr. lonely," I say mentioning how no matter where I see him he's by himself

He didn't respond back

"Switch," I say taking off my gloves

"Alright"

Josh then did the prep then started to punch the bag as well

"You angry too?" I asked as I feel every punch he's throwing into the bag

"Nope just strong," Josh said not easing up

"Nothing bothering you?"

"Something bothers everyone Lewser," Josh said which was true

"Ok, why do you keep calling me Lewser? Why keep bumping me in school? Why bu-"

"Does it matter?" he asked

"Yes," I said as he just sighed and took a breather from punching "There was a time I couldn't stand you and my friends Kaycee and Tahani still can't stand you"
