The weekend past and some events happened over them

Sean and Tate went on two dates

Gabe and Kaycee got in a huge fight after Gabe found out some information involving Sean and Kaycee

Julian and Bailey spent time with Josh outside of school making them closer

Kaycee Rice's POV

The bus ride to school

I was forced to sit next to Sean on the bus as at this point in the school year we basically have assigned seats on the bus

I just want things back to the way they used to be

Even though I know it won't be like that ever again

"Hey guess what?" Sean said to me

"Uh, what?"

"I'm psychic" Sean said to me as if it was a big secret like revealing a superpower

"How do you know that?" I humor him

"Because I can see the future," Sean said

"Ok, and what is in the future?" I asked playing along

"That in the future, in the near future, you're still my best friend and whatever uncomfortableness we have will be gone," He said which made me smile as it shows he doesn't hate me and he too wants to go back to normal "And I'll beat you in our next card game of war"

"Oh, now you're pushing it," I said which made him laugh exposing his dimples that I lo...

We arrived at the school too fast...

I haven't really spoken to Sean since the night he confessed to me but that bus ride helped

I just miss my best friend

I see him at his locker with Tate McRae, he gives her a kiss on the cheek before he heads off presumably to catch up with Julian

I don't know what came over me but I walked up to her

"Hey, Tate, right?"

"Yes! And you must be the famous Kaycee Rice" Tate said

"You know me?" I questioned as I'm not exactly popular at this school

"I mean yeah you're Sean's best friend Kaycee, right?" Tate said as I cracked a small smile at still being called Sean's best friend

"Yep the one and only"

"Oh, my gosh wow he's so great you have to tell me what's wrong with him," Tate said confusing me

"What?" I asked/laughed at the ridiculous statement

"I mean he's been single for so long it must mean something's wrong, right?" Tate asked me and I got a bad thought

"...Yeah, he recently just got out of this unrequited love thing so he's opening himself up more" I said as I see the clock and it's time to go to class "Got to run!"

Sean Lew's POV

"Dude class was crazy you should have come!" Julian said talking about a dance class he took with Josh and Bailey as we walk to Tahani's locker to meet up with her before class

"I had a date remember"

"Yeah, the whole get over Kaycee plan," Julian said as we got closer "So how you feel about Tate?"
