The day came, It's my birthday!!!!
Friday afternoon
Thursday I spent the day with my family so Friday was me being with friends, my parents and siblings were here but they said they would leave once I opened my presents as the squad and I are having a sleepover to celebrate
Even during school everyone wished me a happy birthday, Tati even gave me a gift!
We were currently in the kitchen with a small cake in front of me bought by Julian
"Sorry I didn't know your favorite Kaycee" Julian said as he got a simple vanilla cake
"It's okay I'm just surprised you got it for me in the first place"
"Josh hurry up we have to sing Happy Birthday to Kaycee!" Bailey yelled at Josh who was in the living room on the phone talking to someone
"One-minute woman!" Josh yelled back
"Excuse me?!" Bailey said as we all took a good step away from Bailey before she explodes
"One-minute sweetie!" Josh said changing his tone real quick as Julian made a whipping noise
"Who is he talking to?" Tahani asked
"I don't know," Bailey said "The moment he heard it ring he took it to the living room"
"Strange"
"I know, did you hear from Sean yet?" Bailey asked me
"He just said that the third day would be the busiest day so nothing since he wished me happy birthday at midnight," I said "He was upset you beat him by that half second Tahani"
"Sorry but my face time takes priority over his texts," Tahani said
"Alright, I'm coming!" Josh yelled into his phone hanging up
"All done?!" Julian said
"One second," Josh said heading towards the front door
"I'm tired of these distractions! What can be so important?" I said shoving Josh out the way and opening the front door that Josh kept trying to look through the peephole
I see Sean rolling a cart over with a lot of stuff on it
"Dang it, Josh you had one job!" Sean said as he got closer and I could see the items on the cart
"You took too long!" Josh said as he slipped by me to help Sean lift the cart into the house as the steps were not beneficial for the cart
Josh finished rolling the cart inside as Sean just gave me a hug as I was still trying to figure how he was here
"Happy Birthday Kaycee!" he said
"How?! I thought you had a job?!"
"I did"
"Then how?"
"So it was three days but three days if I only worked in the afternoon after school so I made a schedule adjustment to work through school so it was more like two and half days" Sean explained "I spent the rest of the day making these cupcakes and getting your gifts"
"So you lied to me"
"Lied to you so I can see that pretty face on your birthday then yes I told a little white lie," Sean said "I had to tell Josh as he helped edit the video to make it go faster for me"
"You're the sweetest"
"I haven't missed your birthday for the past ten years, you think I would stop now?" he said as I just hugged him again
We made it back with the group and they already put a candle in the cupcake ready for me
"Why red velvet Sean?" Julian asked as Sean made red velvet cupcakes "I figured that would be more work"
"It's Kaycee favorite," Sean said
"So let's get this party started!" Tahani said
"Happy Birthday Kaycee!"
(This was supposed to go up on her actual birthday but whatevs)
