"Let's play What Are The Odds!" Leah said excitedly.
"How do you play that?" I asked.
"One person asks someone else a question, like a dare, and they say 1 to 10, or 1 to 50, or something like that. Then, you count down from three, and say a number between your original pair. Like if I had said 1 to 10, I'd count down from three and say six and if you said six too then I would have to do the dare, but if we had different numbers then I wouldn't have to do it. Get the idea?" She said.
"Kind of, yeah."
"Okay," she clapped her hands. "Garret. What are the odds you will lick Shay's foot?"
"One to ten," he said wickedly.
"One, two, three, seven!" They both said. Shay groaned and took off his sock and shoe.
Garret licked the bottom of his foot. I grimaced.
"My turn. Sasha, what are the odds you will take off your shirt and run down the hallway?" he asked.
"One to one hundred."
Hell would freeze over before I did that.
"One, two, three," he counted.
"Twelve!" I shouted.
"Forty-three!" He yelled.
"Dang it," he said playfully.
"Ok, Leah. What are the odds you will dance to Call Me Maybe without any words?"
"One to ten."
"One, two, three, two!"
"Five!" We shouted.
Leah smiled. "Shay, what are the odds you will kiss me?"
"One to two," he smirked.
"One, two, three, one!" the both said at the same time.
They made out for a good thirty seconds before Garret smacked Shay with a pillow from my bed.
"Get a room you two," he said.
"We're already in my room," Leah fired back.
Shay laughed. "My turn. Sasha, what are the odds you'll let Garret kiss you?"
That bastard. I glared at him, but his face showed no emotion.
"One to ten," I replied, feeling brave.
"One, two, three, four!" we said unanimously.
Oh crap.
"Shay," Garret said warningly. "I'm not kissing her if she doesn't want me too," he stated.
Leah gave me a look. "It's fine. It's just a game," I said.
He gave me a lopsided smile and leaned over and kissed me softly.
Yum.
It was way too short, but I felt bad even though it was just a game. You're single, I reminded myself.
We held each other's eyes for a second too long, but I didn't really mind.
Oscar who?
