Shay POV

She said yes.

Did you hear that?

Sasha just agreed to marry me. Me. Shay Riley.

I was on cloud nine right now.

And then that damn waiter called her Mrs. Riley. I love the way that sounded.

Sasha Riley.

Mrs. Shay Riley.

Oh Lord, I'm turning into my sister.

We sat down together and ate the free cake.

I glanced over at the couple who had sent it to us. They were probably in their seventies or eighties.

I set my fork down.

"I love you."

She smiled. "I love you too."

We gathered our things and I payed the bill.

On our way out, Sasha stopped me from leaving. "I want to thank those people for our dessert," she said.

I nodded. "I'll follow you."

We weaves out way back through the tables until we reached theirs.

"Excuse me," Sasha said politely.

They turned to look at us.

"Why hello my dear girl," said the woman. She had a slight accent. French maybe?

"Hi, um, my boyfr-fiancée and I would just like to thank you for the cake," she said.

The woman smiled at her and grabbed her hand.

"My husband Cade and I have been married for fifty-seven years. It brings me so much joy to see young love," she said happily.

Her husband nodded. "Liza is a romantic," he shrugged as if to say "what can I do?"

It was evident in the way they looked at each other that they were in love.

"We've got to get going, but thanks again," I said.

"Have a wonderful night," Liza called after us.

That might have been rude, yes, but I just wanted to get Sasha home and have my way with her. As my fiancée.

We drove home in comfortable silence. She clicked the radio on to her favorite country station (God help me) and began to sing along with the words.

I don't dance, but here I am, spinning you round and round in circles.

It ain't my style, but I don't care, I'd do anything with you anywhere.

Oh I don't dance, but here I am, spinning you round and round in circles.

It ain't my style, but I don't care, I'd do anything with you anywhere.

Damn right.
