"That...was...so...beautiful," I sobbed.
Garret patted my back awkwardly. He looked uncomfortable, so I had to laugh.
"Thanks for watching it with me," I laughed. I swiped at my cheeks to get rid of any tears.
He handed me a tissue and my phone. "It's from Leah."

I'm out with Shay...don't wait up;)
"She's at a party with Shay and she said she won't be home so if you want to, you could sleep on her bed," I told Garret.
He grimaced. "I don't know why he takes her to those things," he muttered.
"What do you mean?"
"The girl can't handle alcohol. One drink and she's gone. The last party she went too with him was about two months ago and she had a few beers. Shay found her and some random guy making out and dumped her then and there. She was a wreck and so was he so they ended up back together about a week later, but I still think it's a bad idea," he said.
"Oh. The girls told me she wasn't good with alcohol but I had no idea it was that bad," I said with a yawn.
Garret started to say something else but I had drifted off to sleep.
Garret POV
I was about to say something else, but she had already fallen asleep.
I loved my relationship with her. She wasn't afraid of anything, and I admired that. I suppose we were going to have to discuss Rachel sooner or later, and hopefully she would have good words of wisdom for me.
"Night, Sash," I whispered into the darkness as sleep pulled me under.

I woke up to someone knocking, no, brutally beating on the door.
It took me a second to remember where I was. I was still in Sasha's room.
I made my way to the door and opened it up to see a distressed Shay.
"Hey, man. What time is it? Are you okay?" I asked as I closed the door behind us so I wouldn't wake Sasha.
"It's around four, and no, Garret. Do I look like I'm okay?" he snapped.
He looked terrible. His eyes were bloodshot, due to alcohol or crying I don't know.
"No, you don't. But something is obviously wrong," I said.
"It's Leah. I knew I shouldn't have taken her, Garret, but I did anyways. I screwed up," he croaked.
I shifted in place. "C'mon. We're getting out of here."
He followed me outside and over to Little Star. We sat down at one of the outside tables.
"Talk," I commanded.
He took a shaky breath. "So we get there around 8:00, and it was going just fine. I went to talk to some guys from my engineering class and I told her not to drink anything. She just smiled and said okay. I don't know why I believed she would listen to me, because she didn't. When I walked back in about half an hour later," his voice cracked, "London told me she had had a few beers and that she was upstairs. I found her and some guy in one of the bedrooms," he said, his voice full of hurt and sadness.
Ever since we had met about a year ago, we had been close friends, but I had never seen him this upset.
"Aw man, I'm so sorry. What are you going to do?" I asked.
"I'm not taking her back this time," he said forcefully.
"Whoa man, calm down. I get it," I said.
We sat in the silence of the outdoors and watched the sunrise.
"What's up with you and Sasha?" He asked me.
"We're best friends. Why do you ask?"
"Oh, c'mon. You know you like her," he said, avoiding my question.
"No, I actually don't. But she's amazing, and funny, and beautiful, so I don't know why I'm not pining after her," I said.
"Me neither," Shay let out a low whistle, "she's always been that way too."
"I meant to ask you earlier, how do you know each other?" I wondered.
"We went to high school together. I had the biggest crush on her, from seventh grade until my senior year," he said quietly.
"What happened?"
"I got thrown into the popular crowd in high school and she didn't, but it wasn't like we were friends before that though. She was always just so quiet and reserved, which I loved because I was always so wild and impulsive. We talked for the first time the day before I left for New York," he said bitterly.
"Why didn't you stay in touch?" I asked nosily.
"Well, like I said, we had just met. She was running down the hallway and I didn't see her, so we collided and I spilled my coffee all over her white shirt," he reminisced, "We hung out that night, and then," he paused and looked at me, "I had this dream. Garret, you can't tell her. I know you two are close, but this stays between us. Understood?"
"Yeah. Understood," I said.
He let out a big breath. "Okay, so that night I had this dream..."
Shay then told me every single detail of that dream. I was in shock by the end.
"So, wait. Let me get this straight here, you fell in love with someone on a date you never had?" I asked.
His face turned pink.
"That's one way to put it."
