My eyes bugged out if my head. "This is the actual place? Are you for real?" I asked.

He nodded. I took out my phone and took a picture to send to Angie.

Garret laughed until a snotty businessman ran into me, causing me to land flat on my bum.

"Watch where you're going, asshole!" Garret yelled. He held out a hand for me to grab.

I accepted his hand thankfully. Once I was standing, he placed his arm possessively on my lower back and guided me inside.

His face was still in a scowl when we stepped into the incredible building.

"Stop scowling, I'm perfectly fine," I said softly.

"Sorry, people like him just bother me," he said.

"Business people?"

"Inconsiderate people."

Hm. Makes sense.

"C'mon let's get me some M&M's," I said, tugging at his hand. He finally gave me a smile and trailed behind me.

~

"That was so much fun!" I squealed. We spent two hours in there.

He grinned. "I thought you'd like it," he said smugly.

I felt giddy. Ah, a sugar rush. In all honesty I hadn't eaten that much of our candy, but all it took was a few pieces.

"Do you want to get dinner?" Garret asked me as we walked down the busy street.

"Yes I do. Where should we go?"

"In here," he answered quickly as he ducked into the small restaurant.

I grabbed onto his sleeve once we were inside.

There was a lot of beer and grease. I gulped.

He noticed my expression. "Hey, it's alright. I know the owner, we'll be fine. C'mon," he grabbed my hand and led me to a small booth.

A waiter came over to get our order.

"What's up, man? I haven't seen you around in a while," the man said.

"Hey Tony. This is my best friend, Sasha. Sasha, this is Tony," he smiled at me.

I returned the gesture.

"Whatcha kids want?" it amused me that he said kids, he couldn't be older than twenty-five.

I looked at Garret. He winked at me.

"We will both have the Maria burger, and," he paused to look at me, "chocolate or strawberry?" he asked.

"Strawberry?" I guessed.

He directed his attention back to Tony.

"And one large strawberry milkshake. And please make it fast, we have a movie to catch." he said.

"You got it," Tony said.

My heart swelled. He remembered my movie.

Our food came out shortly. "This is incredible," I gushed.

I wasn't 100% sure what all was on this burger, but it was fabulous. The milkshake was darn good too.

"Glad you like it," he said proudly.

"I never would have chosen this place, it looks so scary. But it's cute," I said, looking around.

We talked an laughed our way through dinner.

"It's seven-thirty, do you want to head back now?" he asked.

"Sure," I said.

We paid and left.

As we started the walk towards the Main Street, I thanked him.

"Why are you thanking me?" he asked.

"Because you have been nothing but awesome since I met you, so thank you for that," I explained.

"You're very welcome," he replied.

~

"I thought you said you'd make me some popcorn?" I whined.

"I will, I will, calm down. I need to go get my sleeping bag from my room so I'll make it in there," he said.

"Why do you need a sleeping bag?" I wondered.

"Because we're having a sleepover? Duh."

I giggled at his serious tone. "Whatever you say."
