Best Mistake Of My Life

Rye's P.O.V 

I walked through the school halls pushing my glasses up my nose grasping my books tight to my chest I was new to this school and after being bullied by my so called best friend Andy Fowler at my old school I was determined to keep my illness a secret. Well that was the plan until I met the blue eyed brown haired Irish Man I am in love with. I bumped into him the first day at the school, It was a mistake and due to my Illness I had an injection before school so my arm was aching and I screamed in pain falling to the floor. He looked at me in shock and helped me up pulling me to the bathroom "I am so so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you" I smile at him, that's it Ryan smile through the pain "Hey hey its okay, I'm Rye by the way" He smiles and I see his entire face relax "I'm Jack" I nod "Do you want my number? So we can be friends im not flirting with you? Unless you don't want to be friends with me" I laugh sticking my tounge out threw my teeth without meaning to me, He smirked at me "I love your smile Rye" I blush and thank him before pulling my phone out my pocket unlocking it and handing it too him. He gives me his number before kissing my cheek and walking out.

That day was the best mistake of my life, It was the start of a beautiful friendship. Months later we started dating at first nobody thought it would last our friends Mikey and Brook thought it would last a month at most, but weeks went by months went by and even years went by. Now here I am 6 years later stood at the alter waiting for my gorgeous fiancé to walk down the isle with my best friend Mikey, stood beside me. I breathe heavily wiping my sweaty hands on my suit and then I here it the music taking over my ears and he stands there in his suit his arm slotted between his dads waist and arm, He smiles at me and I loose it. A single tear works its way out my eye and down my cheek, God I loved this man with all of my heart and the thought of loosing him broke me. He walked his was up the isle and stood opposite me with Brook behind him, He took my sweaty hand between his cold ones kissing my knuckles softly like he would to cheer me up. The pope came over and Jack read his vows causing me to cry again, It was my turn I wiped my hands on my suit one more time before pulling out the notes in my pocket, "Jack Richard Daniel Duff, I love you so much, we have been friends for nearly 7 years honestly the best seven years of my life, You have done the world of good for me Jacky. You stopped me hurting myself and ending my life and I couldn't be more grateful you found me in a place I never want to be again, Alone. So for that reason and many other I couldn't be more happy to spend my life with someone as perfect for me as you" I look up at him again to see he's crying I pull him into a hug never wanting to be apart from him. 

3 years later

"Jackkkkyyyyyyyy" I call him in into the living room he walks in laughing at me, I had our dog Bruno sat on my chest snoring. I pout at him and he kisses me. "I feel like something is missing.." He looks at me shocked and worried before laughing "You want a puppy don't you?" I look at him with shocked eyes before laughing and sitting up "They're so cute and Bruno's lonely Jacky" I pout again pushing the dog onto the floor. Jack looks at me before pulling me onto his lap "Okay Baby we can go look at puppys later but I wanna cuddle first" I Jump up in accomplishment before curling into his side and wrapping my arms around his waist smiling into his neck. I awoke half an hour later with Jack still snoring at my side, I tickle him and soon his laughs are filling the room. He tackles me to the floor and threatens me "Carry on and we won't get a puppy Ryan" I pout and let my hands fall to my side, he kisses my cheek takes Bruno into the kitchen they we leave to go and get a puppy. We arrive at the shelter and I run to the front desk, "Hi My name is Rye, me and my husband would love to get a dog" The woman smiles at me as Jack laughs "You adopted Bruno correct?" She questioned I nodded enthusiastically She smiled again and led us into a room "We have a dog that needs adopting her name is Luna she is a German Sheppard aged 1 she was neglected as a puppy so she has trust issues but knowing you boys you can deal with that" I nod signalling for them to send her in, For the first half an hour she sat on the other side of the room but as we were about to give up she took a step towards us, We carried on talking acting as if we hadn't noticed. My heart was beating, I wanted- wait no I needed her seconds later she's pawing at my hand which I lift up slowly stroking her soft ears she begins wagging her tail and jumps up into my lap however was still very wary of my Irish boy. 

After about 2 hours we had fallen in love and we were on are way home with Luna asleep on my lap driving home excited to see where our life was heading
