"Phew! I'm full!"

"I guess we should leave soon."

We get up from our seats and the waiter sees us off until outside the restaurant.

"I wonder if he still thinks we're newlyweds."

"Probably."

"Ehehehehe...."

Even as she grins, her cheeks flush red. Her expression, once again, causes my chest to give a small thump.

(It's embarrassing being considered newlyweds...)

(But she seems to be happy, oh well.)

"Alright! Let's go to the next place!"

"We're still not done yet?"

"We're just getting started." She grinned.

After eating at the restaurant, we decide to look around the mall a little longer.

I walk next to her.

(So...this is the sport store.)

"Hey, Miyoko..."

Contemplating entering the store, I turn around her.

"Mina...you want to go in there?" she asked me before I can suggest it.

"Well, yeah. I was thinking about it...is there somewhere else you want to go?"

"N-no. I'm alright..."

(Is she a little bummed out?)

Stepping inside, sporting goods line the shelves.

I enjoy myself just by looking at them.

(Whoa! Running shoes...awesome, whoa look at those prices it's awesome as well...)

(Speaking of which, she goes running often, doesn't she..?)

A question enters my mind, and I ask her.

"By the way, Miyoko."

"Hm?"

"Were you in any sports club?"

Suddenly, for a split second the cheerfulness vanishes from her face.

"W-why'd you ask?"

She looks somewhat troubled.

"W-well, you go running every day, so I just thought you might've been doing something,"

(Did I ask something I shouldn't have?)

She remains silent, looking down at the floor.

"Miyoko?"

"i...um I was, but I quit, A-anyway!"

"What about you? Were you in a sport club?"

"Oh! Um...(I was a underground fighting competitor back when, like I could say that to her.)

"I-I...played soccer a little."

"Wow! Soccer's great!"

"Oh. Then, how about theses soccer shoes...?"

"You know I can't afford that."

Was it just my imagination?

It seemed that, for a moment, her expression had darkened...

"H-hey, there's a crane game over there!"

Afterwards, we enter the amusement center.

"Oh! I've wanted this prize for the longest time!"
