Chapter 45 - Results

Her intensive study continues for several more weeks.

She then sits her teaching license exam with endeavor.

And then a few days later...

She's been walking from left to right while exasperating huge sighs.

"Um, Miyoko...How about you calm down a bit? You're making me dizzy..."

"But still!"

Today is the day that the exam results are supposed to be released. She had lost the ability to be patient, pacing up and down since early this morning.

"Nyaaargh!!!" she screamed.

(It's no use...Probably better if I just leave her be...)

Just then...

The doorbell rang.

"It's here!!! The results are here!" then she run towards the door.

"Eh? Ah!"

Tegemi comes into the living room.

"T-Tegemi! The doorbell just rang, didn't it?!"

"Yes, It was a courier."

"Eh?"

"A courier?"

"Yeah, it's a packager for Yomiko."

"Oh...is that all~?" she sighed in disappointment.

Knowing that it wasn't the regular post, the two of us deflate a little.

Then...

"I-It's here?!"

The doorbell just rang again.

"Ah, that was just the neighbour dropping off the circulars." Said Rei as she enters the living room from the kitchen.

"Oh..."

And again.

"That must be it!"

"Tegemi, it's the door to door make-up salesperson..." said Raika as she enters the living room from the main door.

"Nyargghh!!! This is ticking me off!!"

"Calm down satan."

"Wha?! Is it my fault?" asked Raika worriedly.

"Ahahaha ignore her Raika she's been like that since she was born."

"Miyoko..."

"The post is here." Said Yomiko and Kasumi as they enter the living room from the main hall.

"Not now, can't you see I'm busy waiting for...Th-the post?!" she wallowed as her irritated expression changed.

(Freaking finally...)

Miyoko flew towards the mail Yomiko is holding.

"I-it's my results!!"

"Results? Asked Kasumi curiously.

"Oh! For your teaching license exam?" said Yomiko

"Y-Yeah..."

By this point all the members of the house have managed to congregate in the living room.

And we are all waiting for the big announcement.

"O-okay...I'll open it now..."

(Her hands are shaking...)

I lay my hand over hers.

"Mina..."

I give her a small smile.

And the other girls watch her in silence.

"Go on, Miyoko take a look." Encourage Raika,

"O-okay...here goes my everything."

She finally opens the envelope with a smile.

She opens up the results sheet and what she finds inside.
