Final Chapter Chapter 54 - The Perfect Send-Off

Miyoko had decided she will take the offer to teach in that island for a year. Time passes quickly, and the day for her to depart suddenly arrives.

"Okay...I'm going now."

"Take care, Miyoko." Cheered Rei

"Make sure you don't forget sending us emails or send us message's in our group chat." Reminded Yomiko.

"But be sure to take care of yourself." Said Kasumi.

"Don't overdo things." Said Tegemi

"Good luck, Miyoko." Said Raika.

"Thank you, guys."

She turns to me last.

"Mina..."

"Miyoko..."

We stare at one another for a moment...Then a big grin spreads across her face.

"Don't worry I'll be taking care of our baby that's inside me."

"W-Wha!"

"Mina!!!" roared the girls in unison

"Did you guys?!" uttered Raika in surprised

"N-no, I uh, M-Miyoko?!"

(What the hell is she saying? I'm still a virgin!)

They cornered me with a piercing gaze.

"You pervert! What did you do?!" roared Yomiko while grabbing me in the collar of my shirt

"N-nothing!"

"Y-You force yourself in her did you?!" uttered Kasumi

"I didn't!"

"M-Mina..." with teary eye Rei wallowed

"Ahahahahaha, I'm just kidding guys, don't kill him, yet." Miyoko joked

"Geez, Miyoko doesn't joke like that, you're going to give us a heart attack." Wallowed Tegemi

"Ehehehe...Anyway, thanks for supporting me, Mina."

"I'm going to make sure I become a great teacher while I'm there."

"Yeah, I'll come and visit in the holidays."

She smiles happily and nods.

"It's nearly time..."

She is about to open the front door, when...

"Oh, I forgot something important!"

"Mina!"

She suddenly spins back around to face me dashed forward wrapped her arms around me and kissed me on the lips.

"Come on guys, that's enough lovey-dovey." Said Raika

"Let's just let it slip this time since we're not going to them lovey-dovey for a year." Said Tegemi

She kisses me boldly right here in front of everyone. Even holding my face between her hands to do so.

(This kiss is longer than usual, should I stick out my tongue?)

But before I could.

She draws back, then points a finger in the direction of the other girls.

"No one is allowed to steal Mina while I'm gone!"

"He is mine..."

"And I am his!"

"Trust me, Miyoko no one would dare." Snarled Yomiko

(What's that's supposed to mean?)

"I dunno Miyoko, maybe I will." Jokes Raika.

"Raika!" pouts Miyoko.

"Hahaha, oh, Miyoko." Giggled Tegemi.

Meanwhile, Rei and Kasumi just exchange glances blushing and smiling to one another.

"What kind of goodbye is this? Don't worry no one's gonna steal your man and we promise we're going to look after him and report every action he makes." Assured Raika.

"M-Miyoko please just go, you're embarrassing me...."

"Ehehehe."

She takes a deep breath, then takes the front door's handle in hand.

"See you later everyone! See you in spring, Mina!"

This time she opens the door with a gust. There is no hesitancy or anxiety in her face as she does. Her smile is filled with excitement and expectation as she waves goodbye.

"M-Miyoko!"

I rushed outside to catch up with her for the last time.

"If you ever feel sad or lonely, just call me okay."

"I'll be there for you in a flash!"

"You are always in my thoughts!"

"Mina~!"

"I...I will!"

"And you are always in my thoughts too!"

"I'll be back!"

We each send her off with a bright smile.

I vow with all my heart.

And I keep waving my arm as her taxi drove until she is gone from view.
