Chapter 35 - Happiness and Challenges

Several months after Miyoko and I start dating. As always every day together is filled with fun.

*Yawn* "Good morning everyone."

I greet everyone and take a seat at the dining table.

"Morning." Replied Kasumi wearing a bright smile.

"Good Morning, Mina." greeted Rei as she puts the breakfast she made at the dining table.

"Okay, we're all here now, Let's eat!" said Miyoko.

"Alright dig in," said Tegemi.

"Breakfast time everyone." Said everyone.

Miyoko for some reason jumps up and leans forward.

"What's new on the menu Rei?"

"N-nothing fancy...Just a quiche omelet." She said while handing her plate sheepishly.

She sets a delicious looking egg dish down on the table.

"Oh! It's a brand new western dish on the menu!" Miyoko pique.

"Quiche...omelette...I've never heard of that before but it sounds and looks delicious!"

"Of course you'd never heard of it." Yomiko sneered.

"Ahahaha, that's what you get and here...open up Mina." Said Miyoko as she scoops up a bite-size portion of the egg and offering it to me.

"Eh?!"

"Jeez, get a room guys," teased Raika,

"You never change, do you." Smiled Tegemi.

Looking around I see everyone wearing their usual smiles of exasperation.

(This had become a daily thing at mealtimes for us...)

"Come on Mina!"

"O-okay..."

*Nom*

"How is it?" she asked.

"It's really good!"

"Right? The eggs are so fluffy and tasty, that's Rei's cooking for you."

"Jeez, Miyoko..."blushed Rei.

"Really now...Do you two have to be so lovey-dovey every morning." Said Yomiko wearing that awkward smile.

"Ah, ahahaha...." Rei laugh awkwardly.

Despite being slightly annoyed by our antics, everyone acts caringly towards us.

Then Raika suddenly whispers.

"There really is no difference between the two of you now and how you were before dating."

"Oh, really?" wondered Miyoko.

"Yes, You get along so well and seem happy."

"Hm..."

Miyoko sinks deep into thought, which is unusual for her.

"I dunno..."

"Huh?"

"I think...That I've changed a lot since dating Mina."

(well you stopped playing pranks on me...)

The other residents look confused at these words of hers.

"Miyoko? You think you've changed?" wondered Rei.

"In what way?" ask Raika.

"Hahaha...Well, you see..."
