Lylah's POV

"Well don't you look extra cute today." Trevor coos, looking over my outfit.

"Thanks! I'm trying to impress Zach."

"Zach? What happened to you liking Cameron?" He scratches the back of his head.

"Eh he started dating Ava." I shrug.

"That's never stopped you before?"

"They aren't worth breaking up, trust me they won't last long."

"Hey, here comes Zach." He whispers.

I turn on my heel just as he walks up to me.

"Dammit I was gonna scare you." He laughs.

"I'm too quick!" I smile widely.

"You sure are, you're lucky you're so cute." He pinches my cheek playfully.

"T-thank you." I mutter under my breath.

"No problem, so hey... I was wondering if you were busy this-"

"Lylah?" I hear Trevor call out behind me.

"Huh?"

"I think you spaced out, Zach was asking you something."

"So um yeah like I was saying, would you like to-"

"Hey Trevor, who's that guy?" I ask, peeking around Zach's arm.

"Lylah! You're being so rude! I don't know who that is!" Trevor blushes in embarrassment.

"Sorry. Hey I'll be back- I'm gonna go find out." I wave off to the two boys staring at me with wide eyes.

I waddle my way to the tall boy with ink covering almost everything. He turns his head at the sound of my footsteps and his blue eyes narrow on me.

He's kinda scary looking but I shouldn't judge, he could be the sweetest guy ever.

"I'd turn around if I were you."

"Huh?"

"I don't want to hear another introduction this morning, I've already got too many names to remember."

Okay so I take back the sweet guy thing.

"One more won't hurt will it?"

"Hurry up."

Wow no people skills.

"Fine, I'm Lylah Amami."

"K."

"Um and your name is?" I encourage.

"Uh Damon." He shuts his locker and walks away without another word.

That was weird.

He's rude and awkward but other than that he's...perfect.
