Joaquin ^^^
Damon's POV
I plopped down into the booth and glared at the guy in front of me, Joaquin.
"You son of a bitch."
"What did I do now?" He sips from his pop calmly.
"It didn't fuckin' work!" I groan.
"Um refresh my memory?"
"The fight idiot, she still likes me for some reason. I knew your dumb ass plan would backfire."
"Well at least I got to bruise you up a little, I swear I was going easy though." He chuckles.
"Yeah whatever, what do I do?"
"How about leaving it alone, you said yourself her crushes only last a small while. The more you taint it, the more she'll like you." He shrugs.
"I tried that."
"Yeah right you're too impatient. She's hot, enjoy it while you can."
"Um no thanks."
"Why not, you scared? Crazy girls are the best!"
I shake my head and let out a small laugh.
"Oh please don't tell me you're... racist?" He whispers.
"Please stop with the theories, and no I'm not racist, I just don't want her to end up like all the other boxer's girlfriends. Did I mention she's fuckin' crazy?"
"I get it, you simply just don't like her." He drops his eyes to his food.
"Oh my God..."
No... there's no way?
"What?"
"You talked to her, didn't you?" I grimace.
"No, I just think Lylah could make you happy, you're always-"
"See you just told on yourself."
"How?"
"I never told you her name." I cross my arms over my chest.
Lylah's POV
I start my walk across the parking lot when I spot Joaquin walking towards me.
"Joaquin? Hey!"
"Shit, we should go."
"Go? I just got here." I give him a confused look as he tries to turn me around.
"Oh well if it isn't the little demon herself." Damon walks towards us.
"Demon? Uh can someone please explain what happened?"
"You brought her here?" Damon scoffs.
"No man I swear."
"I'm here for uh a friend, I didn't know you would be here."
"Sure sure." He rolls his eyes.
"I'm serious, I don't know what I did?" I whine.
"You didn't do a thing." Joaquin gives a sympathetic smile.
"Hey Lylah, sorry I'm late." My buddy Edwin walks up. "Um am I interrupting?"
"No, I was just on my way in." I smile as I grab his wrist, pushing past the two guys.
"See, told you I didn't know."
"Okay but who the hell is he?"
I could feel both of their stares on my back as we opened the door.
