(EMMA'S POV)
It's Saturday. Which means we leave for Paris in a couple of hours. Our flight isn't until the afternoon so we still have time to pack some last minute things.

I went downstairs and walked over to the kitchen and saw my mum cooking, "Good morning, sweetie!" she says. I walked over to her and gave her a lil kiss on the cheek, "Morning, mum. Do you need any help?"
"I'm almost done with this, why don't you wake your sister up and help me set up the table for breakfast?"
I went up the stairs and was about to knock on my sister's room but it was already open. She was already awake and was just washing her face in the bathroom. I knocked on the door and said "yo sis, mum said to help her set up the table for breakfast." I heard I lil "okay!!" and went back down to the kitchen.

Almost everyday, even though we are busy with school or work, we always try and have either breakfast or dinner together. Maybe that's the reason why we are so close. We try and make time to catch up with our day no matter how busy we are. We never keep secrets and pull each other up when we're down.

A couple of hours have passed and we are all ready to head to the airport. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited. It's our first time going to Europe. The other times we've been on holiday, it was only around Asia like Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong. All of us have been looking forward to this and it's been a long time in planning.

We arrived at Changi airport only to see long queues. Which was so weird for us as usually, it's all organised. We looked for our counter for Singapore airlines and followed our mum.

After we've checked in, we went in for immigration and looked for our gate. It was quite a walk from the entrance so when we reached, we put down our bags, tired, and sat near the gates.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom before the gates open, are you guys gonna come?"
"Nah" my sister and I said together.
"You guys better go now or it'll be difficult to go to the bathroom on the plane while people are boarding." My sister and I looked at each other and I said "you guys go ahead. I'll take care of our things then I'll go when you come back."
When they got back, I went into the toilet and looked at myself in the mirror. I pretty much had the toilet to myself since it was located at the other end of the airport. I retied my hair again and washed my hands. When I got out, I saw that people are already starting to queue outside the gate and I see my mum and my sister waving at me to come over.

It's almost a 14 hour flight from Singapore to Paris, and so my mum, sister and I planned to sleep just so we can adjust to the time easily. Paris is 7 hours behind Singapore during the winter. It's our first time going somewhere with a huge time difference so I don't know how it's gonna work for us.

It was around sunset when we arrived. We took pictures at the airport and took a taxi to go to our hotel. Paris was so beautiful. Little chilly for us, but gorgeous nonetheless. Nothing like we have ever seen before.

We took a little stroll just outside our hotel before we knocked out in our beds that night.
