(EMMA'S POV)

I've woken up with the most painful headache. "Ahh, such great timing."

I laid on the bed longer than usual, trying to get more sleep. After a while of unsuccessfully trying to fall back asleep,  I remembered that IT'S CHRISTMAS!

Ever since my sister and I were kids, we've dreamed of going to Disneyland. Like any other kids, we've grown to love Disney princesses, movies, and TV shows. I remember when we were younger, we would always get excited every time Mulan was on the telly. It was one of our favourites!

It wasn't really planned that we were going to Disneyland on Christmas Day, but since Daniel and I went out yesterday, we moved to today. Which isn't so bad cause what more could you ask for than be in Disneyland Paris on Christmas Day?

"Are you okay, sweetie?" mum said. Noticing that I'm still in bed.

"Yeah. I just have a bit of a headache, that's all. I'm sure it'll go away soon."

"Well sweetie, if you don't have enough strength we can just bring you food here."

I really wanted to go down to see Dani, but I've decided to just stay in bed a little longer. I wanted to get more rest and have energy for today. I'm so excited!

"Alright. Get some rest. We have a fun day ahead!" as they head out the door.

(DANIEL'S POV)

'IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!'

Christmas has been my favourite holiday since I was a kid. I don't really know why. Maybe it's because people are always happy when it's Christmas. It's like a sin if you're in a mad mood, you'll end up ruining everyone's day.

I got out of bed and gave my mum a kiss and a cuddle. "Merry Christmas, mum."

"Merry Christmas, Dani." returning my hugs and kisses.

I went over to Anna and gave her a hug, "Merry Christmas, ugly."

"Merry Christmas to you too, ugly times two."

"Smart."

Then she rolls her eyes at me.

I got in the shower and got dressed. I tried to be a little bit more Christmassy by wearing green and red. I wore my red plaid sweater, with some jeans and green socks to match. Simple, but it's comfy.

We went down for breakfast. It was a little bit more crowded than usual, I'm guessing since it's Christmas.

We waited for quite some time to get a table. I was looking for Emma but I couldn't see her anywhere.

After a while, I saw her family walks in. Just her mum and her sister. I stood up to walk them to our table since we managed to grab extra seats.

"Heyy, Celine how are you?" My mum the moment they sat down.

"I'm doing great, you?" she replied.

"Where's Emma?"

"Oh, she's not feeling too well. She wanted to stay in the room, we'll just bring her something to eat when we come back."

Suddenly, I stopped drinking my apple juice and got so worried.

"Oh-"

"Is she okay?" I cut off.

"Yes, dear she just have a little bit of a headache. She just wanted to lay down for a little while."

I couldn't just sit there and not check up on her.

"I'm gonna go get some food for Em." I whispered to Anna.

"But I thought they'll just bring her some later?"

"That will take a while. She must be hungry and that might add up to why she's having a headache."

"Well if you say so."

"Excuse me, I'll go first, if you don't mind." I say, standing up.

"But you haven't finished your food!" My mum said.

"It's okay mum, I'm not that hungry."
"Umm, can I bring something up for Emma?" I say to Em's mum.

"Aww that's so sweet of you. Of course, you can."

"Is there anything specifically that she wants?"

"I don't th-"

"Those chocolate croissants from the cafe down the street. She loves those." Her sister, Emily suggested.

"Ohh that's great. Okay cool, thank you so much."

I walked out of the hotel and went to the cafe.
It was so weird being back. The last time I was at that cafe was when I met Emma. It's amazing how things can change in just a matter of days.

"Hello, what can I get you?" the barista asked.

"Hi, yeah can I get some chocolate croissants heated, please?"

While he was taking my order, I was thinking to get something for myself too. It's weird if I just watch her eat alone. However, I'm not a fan of chocolate so I've decided to get a normal croissant.

"Is there anything else, sir?"

"Umm yeah, can I get one more croissant please, just the plain ones. And uhh a medium hot toffee nut latte and a medium americano, to go please."

I wasn't sure what drink to get her but I figured since it's Christmas, she might fancy a festive one.

I waited for my order and went back to the hotel afterwards.

Before I went up to her room, I stopped at our room to get a Santa hat just to be all cute when I meet her. Thankfully, my mum and my sister aren't back yet, so I'm guessing they're still at breakfast with Emma's family.

I hopped on the lift and knocked on the door.

Author's note

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry I've been on hiatus for almost a week. It's been such a hectic past couple of days just trying to study for my exams. I'm on my last term for my pre-university course so I've been trying to keep up with my grades. Obviously not going to happen this term haha but anyways, that means I only have my research paper to do but that doesn't require me going to school, so I'll have a bit more to write more chapters!

I hope you all enjoy this one. I know it's short but I have a nice one planned for the next chapter so keep a look out for that!

Much love,
Micah xx
