Chapter 15

(EMMA'S POV)

He looked at me, confused.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't...kn..it's just that this trip has been so amazing. Meeting you, your family has been the highlight of everything. It truly will be memorable for me but we're different people. I'm just a normal senior girl at a high school and you're Daniel Seavey. Daniel Seavey from a famous pop band Why Don't We. You have millions of girls screaming for you and I'm just...me." tears starting to roll down my cheeks.

"You're not just Emma. You're different. You're special. No one has ever made me feel this way. The moment I met you at the cafe, I knew..I knew that you were the one. I don't believe in love at first sight but when I saw you, I feel like everything changed. I just had to meet you again. Get to know you. Yes, I am from a band but I'm also just Daniel. Daniel who's a little bit of a mama's boy (she chuckles). Daniel who's a big brother to a little sister and Daniel, who unexpectedly fell for a girl named Emma."

It took a while for me to respond. I just needed to grasp everything he's said. Everything he said made me feel something. I knew he was being sincere. I like him and I know to myself that I don't want whatever it is that we have to end. It'll be hard but we'll try to make it work.

I wipe the tears on my cheeks and said, "okay."

"Okay, what?" He said.

"Okay yes I'll be your...whatever it is that we have."

"Girlfriend. You'll be my girlfriend? YES!" His face brightens up and lifts me up in his arms.

"Put me down before I change my mind."

"Okay okay." Putting me down. "You just have no idea how happy you made me feel, Em. And I promise you, this will work."

"I hope so, Dani, I hope so."

We leaned it for a kiss and he walked me back to my room.

When I got back to my room, my sister noticed that I was all happy and smiley.

"What happened down there?" She asks.

I looked around to check if my mum was there, she was in the bathroom. I wasn't ready to tell her. Maybe tomorrow. I just don't know how she will react. Her little girl having her first boyfriend. We'll (Daniel and Emma) just tell her together tomorrow.

"Daniel and I are together."

"WHAT?!" She shouts.

"Shhh! Mum might hear you! I'm not ready to tell her yet. Maybe tomorrow."

"Okay but how did that happen?" She whispers.

"Well, he said he wanted to talk to me. He said that he wanted to get to know me more. I was hesitant because you know, we live so far away. I don't know how it will work but we'll figure it out."

"Are you sure about this?"

"I am. I really like him, sis. He just makes me so happy"

"Well if you're happy, then I'm happy. But what I said before still stands, if he hurts you, I will take no chances and straight up murder him."

I giggled. "Yes sis, no worries"

My mum got out of the bathroom so I went in after her. After I got ready for bed, I decided to text Ali.

"Hey, Ali!"

"EMZ!!!! How are you? Isn't it like late there?"

"I'm doing amazing and yes, I'm just about to go to sleep but i have something important to tell you. Remember Daniel?"
