Chapter 9

(DANIEL'S POV)

'Did I do something wrong?'

Em seemed mad at me after I tried to give her a kiss.

I went back to my room, still feeling confused, but I decided to text her.

"Hey Em, are you alright? Have I done something wrong? Didn't you like the surprise?"

It took some time for her to reply. It started to worry me that there was something wrong.

"Hey! No, you didn't do anything wrong. The surprise was amazing! It'll be one of those memories that I will never forget. I just..I'm sorry for how I ended it tonight. It's just that..I'm so embarrassed to say this, in my 18 years of existence, I have never kissed anyone before. I just want my first to be special. I don't mean that tonight wasn't special, it was, but I just wasn't ready. Yes, it's just a kiss but I'm kind of protective about these kinds of things. I'm sorry."

"No, it's okay. You don't need to apologise, I completely understand. I guess it was a little bit too soon for me to just do that. I'm sorry too."

"Thank you for being so understanding. :)"

THE NEXT DAY:

I wasn't sure if we were still going out today. But nonetheless, I still got ready and went out to breakfast like the usual.

I texted Em to ask if we were still on and she said yes.

A smile creeped out on my face. "what are you smiling about?" Anna said.

"Well, I met this girl 2 days ago. Her name's Emma. We've been talking since then and she's so sweet, funny and so kind. She's so different from any other girls, I swear. And I know we just met but I have this feeling about her, that she might the one."

Anna was so hooked listening to me. I don't think she has ever listened to me like that before.

"Aww, Dani. I'm so happy for you! So, where is she? I want to meet her!"

"Me too!!" said mum, eavesdropping.

"She lives in this same hotel. We're actually going out later today, maybe you can meet her."

"YEEES!!" said Anna and I gave them the widest smile.

(EMMA'S POV)

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR???!!!"

"CHILL, BITCH" said my sister.

I only brought one proper dress with me since I knew it was gonna be cold. I've rummaged through my suitcase and I couldn't find the perfect outfit.

After looking through for outfit inspirations, my sister came up to me with an outfit idea. She let me borrow her denim skirt with this really nice top. I didn't really wear my hightops today but I knew we're gonna walk quite a distance so I wore them anyways. Of course, I paired them with some tights and a coat. My outfit looked fairly decent. I like it and, it's comfy.

My sister gave me an awkward wink before she and mum left to do their own thing. "Have fun, sweetie!" Mum said.

I looked at the time, it's 5 minutes to 1. I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. I actually couldn't believe it. Someone's taking me out for a date IN PARIS! WHAT THE FLIPPIDY FLOP?! Never in my life have I thought that this would happen in real life and to me! I hear a knock on the door and tried to calm myself down before I opened it.

"Hi."
"Ha..eee" he says looking at me from the bottom to the top. (Because you know I'm all about that bass bout that bass, no treble. Lol ok now back to the story)
"You look..beautiful"
"Thank you. You look good yourself." I say.
"So, shall we?" handing his arm for me to grab.

'Not gonna lie, I'm internally freaking out right now ahhhhhhhhhhhh'

We headed down to the lobby when we suddenly stopped and he introduced his sister and mother to me.

"This is Anna, my sister and my mom, Keri"

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Emma." I say, nervously.

I saw that Anna gave Daniel a look, something like an approval.

"So Emma, Daniel's been talking about you nonstop lately."

"MOM!" I hear Daniel "whispered" to his mum.

Hah.

I gave a little chuckle.

"Anywayyyyy, I think we're gonna go now ok bye see ya" says Daniel.

"Alright. It was nice to meet you, sweetie..(giving me a hug). Have fun you two!"

"It was nice to meet you, Emma." says Anna giving me a hug as well. "DANIEL, be nice." giving him a glare.

"It was nice to meet both of you too!"

Daniel and I walked out the lobby and just strolled down the streets of Paris.
