Chapter 29

(EMMA'S POV)

My alarm started going off. Both Daniel and I got startled and woke up.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry, it's my alarm for school. We can go back to bed. I'll just skip school for today." I say.

"No no, go for class today. I'll just wait for you to come home. You shouldn't be missing classes." He says, his voice sounding so raspy. Which I found really hot.

"Are you sure you're okay here? Mum and Emily are gonna be at work all day too."

"I'm good, don't worry about me. "

"Well okay. I'll just get ready and I'll be back." I say, while grabbing my uniform from my closet and headed out to the bathroom.

I took a shower, got dressed and tied my hair up. When I got back, Daniel was still on my bed fast asleep. He looked so adorable, so peaceful. He must still be so tired from travelling.

I just left him to sleep and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning, sweetie. Where's Daniel?" Mum says.

"He's still sleeping. I didn't want to wake him up, he must be so tired and jet lagged."

"Oh okay. Go ahead and eat some breakfast. You're gonna be late for class."

I wasn't craving for anything in particular today, so I had some cereal and coffee.

I went back up to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I slowly turned on the lamp in my room to get my bag when I hear a, "Emma?" I turned around and it was Daniel with his eyes still half closed.

"Oh sorry babe, did I wake you?" I say, while packing my bag.

"No. Are you leaving now?"

"Yeah, in a couple of minutes. I need to catch the bus. Do you need anything before I leave?"

"Actually, yes."

"What is it?" I say, as I walk towards him in the bed.

He then grabbed my arm causing me to fall on top of him with our faces so close to each other.

"You."

I slapped him on the arm. "Tsk Daniel, I'm gonna be late. Stop being so sweet."

"Have a nice day in school, love." He says, kissing me on the lips. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too, babe. I'll be back okay." As I give him another kiss and got up from the bed to grab my bag.

"What time do you come home?"

"I have a long day today. I think I'll be back around 5."

He nods.

I looked at my phone and the bus is arriving in 4 minutes.

"Oh shit I gotta go!"

"Okay I LOVE YOU, BABE. Be safe, okay?"

"I will. Love you, too. See you later." I say, as I run out the door.

"Bye mum, bye sis.", as I walk past them in the kitchen.
