The Unexpected

Chapter 7

(DANIEL'S POV)

My family were shocked seeing me up and all ready for breakfast. Usually, they'd go down first and I'll end up missing the buffet.

"Wow Dani you're actually up. That's a first." Anna says. I smile at her.

We all go down together for breakfast and all I could think about is seeing Emma again. I kept on thinking about our conversation last night.

"Who are you looking for, sweetie?" mum said, noticing that I wasn't focused on eating.

"I..uhh..nobody"
My sister gave me a look.

We were almost done eating when I saw her walking in. There she was, looking as beautiful as I remembered. She was wearing this light-washed jeans, tucked in with a t-shirt and a long sleeve top underneath, paired with her hightop converse. She looks so simple but so elegant at the same time I don't know.

I was about to go up to her but decided not to. I didn't want to bother her family time. I don't think she saw me, so that's good. I don't want her thinking that I'm ignoring her after our conversation last night.

(EMMA'S POV)

"Wake up, bitch!" I hear my sister say.
"What time is it?"
"Time for you to get up"
I grabbed my phone to check what I have missed overnight and stumbled upon Daniel and I's messages from last night. I did a little smile and got out of bed to get ready.

Took me a while to get ready. I mean, longer than my usual. I tried to dress somewhat nicely today, hoping to see Daniel again.

I was looking for him during breakfast but I couldn't find him. He must've gotten down early.

We went back to our room to get our stuff and my phone rang. It's Daniel.

"You look amazing today. <3"
I blushed as I read the message. I wondered if he was at breakfast.

"Aww, thank you. Were you at breakfast this morning?"

"Yes, I was. I saw you but you were having fun with your family so I didn't wanna bother you."

"Oh. It's alright." Feeling a little down.

Today was another day of touring around Paris. We went to see the Eiffel Tower and it was as beautiful as it is in pictures. Well, even more gorgeous in real life.

When we got back from sightseeing, I saw Daniel waiting for me at the lobby again. His face brightens up immediately when he saw me.

"Hey, hi umm can I talk to you?" looking at my mum and my sister as if telling them to leave us alone to talk.

I look at my mum and my sister and nodded so they left.

"So, what's up?"

"I was wondering..uhh..do you wanna hang out...maybe...uh..tomorrow?" while scratching the back of his head being all awkward.

God damn it how adorable.
I had a little freak out internally then I finally said "Yeah, yes, sure." Trying to sound calm and confident.

A huge smile suddenly appeared on his face and said "Yes yeah okay great!!" I could see how excited and happy he was.

I stood there, smiling and giggling watching him all be happy.

Finally, he said "so, I'll pick you up around 1? At...?"

"Room 10-04."

"Alright, cool. See you then!"

"See you!" As I walk back to my room.
