(EMMA'S POV)
Finally, it's the end of the day. I'm so tired. All I wanna do is to get home and see Daniel.
I was walking out of school when Ali came over to me and said, "EM, DANIEL'S HERE!!!" sounding so excited.
"Wait, what? What do you mean HERE?"
"He's here in school."
We walked towards the gate to see Daniel waiting for me.
"What are you doing here?"
"To pick you up. Aren't you happy to see me?"
"Well, of course I am. Come here." I say, giving him a tight hug. "Have you been waiting here long?"
"Not much. Some of your friends came up to me. They seemed nice."
I chuckled. "They're probably not my friends. Ali's the only friend I have here."
"Well, they seemed nice anyways."
"To you." I rolled my eyes. "How'd you know how to get here?"
"I asked your mum and your sister for directions."
"Lucky you didn't get lost." I teased.
He rolled his eyes.
"Hey, Daniel!" Ali says.
"Hey, Ali. How are you?"
"I'm good I'm good." She then turned to me. "Hey Em, I think I'm gonna go first."
"Wait, what? Are you sure? You can go back with us."
"No, it's okay. I don't want to bother you both. Go spend some time together, you guys haven't seen each other in a long time."
"Well if you're fine with it, then I'm okay."
She gives me a hug and then Daniel.
"I'll see you guys, later! Have fun!"
"Bye, Ali. Text me when you get home."
"I will." she then walks away.
I turned to Daniel.
"So, what do you wanna do for the rest of the day?"
"Well actually, we have a dinner reservation at 8 tonight."
"You and your surprises huh." I played punch his arm.
"Ouch." He "cried".
"Oh please. But anyways, where are we going for dinner tonight?"
"I'll tell you when we get there but for now, do you wanna walk around to kill time til dinner?"
"Yeah, sure why not. I just gotta change into some new clothes and not in this nasty old uniform of mine."
He grabbed my hand and we started walking to the bus stop.
"You look cute in that uniform of yours though, I like it."
I glared at him and continued walking.
When we reached the house, I headed up the stairs quickly to change. I just decided to wear something comfy for now and change into something fancier for later. I wore some black fitted jeans that's distressed at the bottom, slightly tucked-in grey oversized tee, with my favourite pair of white vans and socks.
I walked down to the living room where he was waiting for me.
"So, do you have anywhere specific you want to go to?"
