Jakes POV
I just held Erika in my arms, she was so....broken. I tried to pull away so I could go tell the boys to leave but she had a grip.

J: Erika you have to let go I'm just gonna tell the guys to leave and I'll be right back.

Erika sighed and let me go, this girl is really torn up about this.

I got into the living room and the boys looked at me concerned.

J: what?

A: her mom left?

J: listen we shouldn't talk about this,,,,ever. Now I need you guys to leave.

C: alright then I'll see you this weekend.

J: bye.

The boys left and I went back to Erika who was laying down staring at the wall. I went and sat next to her and rubbed her back.

J: you going to sleep?

E: no, not now at least. I'm sorry for just exploding on you like that. And getting mascara on your shirt.

J: it's fine, I can buy a new shirt easily and you needed to get that all out and I'm happy you trusted me enough for me to be that person.

Erika turned into her other side and looked at me and smiled.

E: I'm also sorry for being a b•tch.

J: *chuckles* it's fine

Erika smiles again making me smile

J: I'm gonna leave you to sleep you look tired.

E: thanks

I leave out and go into the living room. My phone was ringing so I went and picked it up from the couch and left into the hallway.

J: hello?

D: hey man, can I speak with Erika I've got some great news for her.

J: yeah I'll get her what's the great news?

D: well she's always wanted to go to New York for a vacation

J: so she visiting you in New York?

D: even better, I got he best job offer ever and they want me to move to New York and they are providing a penthouse apartment for us.

J: o-oh that's great

I don't know why but it hurt when he said that they were leaving, I just didn't want her to go.

D: you okay?

J: yeah I'm gonna go get Erika.

I walk back into my apartment and go wake up Erika.

E: huh

She rubbed her eyes which were still a bit red and puffy from crying.

E: what happened.

J: your dad wants to talk to you.

E: well I don't want to talk to him.

J: come on Erika he has some really good news.

I mouthed to her "please"

E: fine
