Erika's POV
We walk into prom and Noah walks away from his date and up to me.

N: hey Erika and

S: Sunny

N: Sunny

E: what do you want Noah?

N: I wanna dance.

E: I have a boyfriend and you have a date.

S: let's go dance Erika

N: go dance with your date lady I'm trying to talk to her.

S: listen fvck face, I'm Erika's date and she said she doesn't want to dance with you and she has a boyfriend. She's not a cheater unlike you.

We walked away to the dance floor.

E: I've never danced with a girl

S: me neither it isn't as awkward as I thought it would be.

E: yeah

S: how did you and you know who find out that you were in love.

E: let's sit we're around too many people.

We go and sit down far away from everyone else.

E: we were in Chicago because Jake was our coach and chaperone for the competition.

S: so I'm assuming you guys won.

E: yeah I didn't know he could dance. But the day before we had just got done practicing all of us girls went to the pool but I left early to talk to Jake because I knew he liked me.

S: how'd you know.

E: me and my best friend Kade who you know has passed, well we went to the mall to get a couple of things and while we were at the shoe store Jake and Anthony were there. Jake said he was getting some shoes for a girl he liked and when I got home those shoes were on my bed.

S: what happened after you guys talked in Chicago.

E: well I liked him too and then we ended up hooking up.

S: Ooh girl get it.

E: *giggles*

Principal: okay now it's time for our King and Queen

E: ugh I seriously hope I don't win.

S: I won prom queen at my junior prom.

E: I won even though my name wasn't on the ballad. People wrote my name in. If Noah wins I'm not dancing with him so you better be ready to dance with me.

S: I gotchu

Principal: our prom queen is Erika Costell!

Everyone started clapping and I walked up to the stage and rolled my eyes as they put the crown on me.

Principal: and out prom king is Noah Jones

E: of course

The put the crown on Noah and he tried to grab my hand to dance.

E: absolutely not

N: you have too Erika

E: I don't have to do anything

S: Erika would you like to dance?

E: I would love too

I grab Sunny's hand and we dance for a couple of minutes.

E: prom isn't as fun as it was junior year.

S: you wanna leave?
