Hello, Beat here to talk about the drops of Dreamland and the skills
I talked about the dungeons but I never talked about this kind of things in Monsterpedia or outside of the small talks with sidestory writers because I feared to open the Pandora box wide open and get swarmed by questions.

But seems like I will have to go in depth and explain it well! Dreamland has quite the surprise system of drops. As usual in MMORPG, you kill a monster and you get drops to your inventory, that's the usual way but Dreamland has an extra twist.
The extra twist that Dreamland adds is the corpses, they do not disappear instantly and so players can skin the enemies and obtain extra drops. Usually happens in open areas and non PVP dungeons. In PVP dungeons and partial PVP dungeons you must obtain the drops via the corpses or what falls to the ground but some PVP areas do not allow the players to steal the items of other players they kill.

This method helps those who are insensitive to obtain materials in a faster way and focus on hunting and gathering skills like Scavenger (allows you to skin corpses and extract materials from the corpses faster and with better quality) or Human Magnet (Literally has only 2 skills, one that shows where the drops fall and another that drags slowly what is close to you).
But of course that takes time and you must be patient to obtain great materials.
And now we link part 1 to part 2. The skills.

The skills are different than usual with something you all noticed if you checked the sidestories that is the Community Opinion. This rating will help you to know which skills are more liked and surely the most effective skills but in some cases… Some skills are not understood like Void Knight.

From the developers point of view, the skills are separated in 5 types of skills. Those types are:
1-Tank Skills: Make the user capable of withstanding attacks and protecting the group. Samurai, Viking and Guardian are examples of these skills. Usually have heavy hitting skills but they are slow.
2-Damage Dealer skills: The usual damage per second (DPS) skills. Assassin, Gunslinger and Mages are examples of these skills. Still they also have some survival skills.
3- Support skills: Well, these are a big group of skills. All skill that can help others is a support skill. Priest is one of the biggest examples but Summoner and Tamer are also support skills.
4-Crafting skills: Even if Crafter does a lot of things, in this group falls all that creates anything. Engineer, Crafter, Constructor, archeologist (can craft replicas of relics and discover relics faster), and Scholar (can create skill books) are some examples of it.
5- Production skills: This group is a the one less liked by the opinion. These skills mostly help with obtaining materials. Like Scavenger, Gardener (Makes the plants grow faster when you plant them), Fisherman (Allows the user to obtain fish and other materials (Sometimes there are treasures in the water)), Merchant (Obtains more money in selling) and others.

Well in the case of planting… There was some foreshadowing of it in the first book of Dreamland! You can obtain seeds of most plants, you plant them and you have to wait. But Gardener allows you to obtain the plant or fruit faster due to increasing the growth speed.
If Geralt planted a red herb (For making healing potions) he would need 2 hours to have one more herb but if a Gardener did it, in two hours he would have around 20 herbs.

For fishing you can obtain normal fishes for cooking or you can catch up without wanting a monster and have to fight it, but in some times you obtain a rusted chest. Those chests if opened can have a good treasure but beware of one thing, there are also mimics. The way to know if it is a mimic is that it will have a special smell.

Now I will put the data of the Mimic.

Lv 35 Mimic

Stats:
HP: 12500
Mp: 200
STR: 25
VIT: 25
INT: 1
DEX: 10
AGI: 20

Bio:
This is a cursed chest that has a mouth and a stomach inside. If you kill it you might obtain a good item but it has eaten those who weren't ready.
The one who cursed it surely wanted someone dead.

Skills:
Surprise attack: Passive. If the Mimic manages to attack someone by surprise, the damage of that attack will be increased a 50%.
Great resistance to magic: Any low grade magic will have no effect on them. The medium grade will have little effect and the high grade magic will be effective.
Great Devourer: They can digest anything really fast, as long as they can eat the thing they are eating.
Camouflage: Active skill, 19 mp cost, duration of 5 minutes. It makes the user one with the environment and making it hard to be detected. It does not cover the scent.
Ambush: Active Skill. 5mp cost. Under the ground you can go to the surface unleashing a strong attack.
Strong Bite: Active Skill, cost 20 mp. A reinforced bite that can kill a stray adventurer if it hits the neck. Easy to counter.
Devour: Active skill, 80 MP. A surprise attack that devours the target and can digest it. If it takes more than 10 seconds to eat it will spit the target out.
Swift bite: Active skill, 4 mp. A really fast bite that cannot be parried or deflected. It is time to dodge!

Weakness: Holy magic and fire magic. You don't know how hard it is to keep safe the wood.

Drops:
Orb of Health: This item can fill the HP bar once. After usage, it will break.
Corrosive blood: Material to craft corrosive poison and higher grade alchemical potions.
Broken Iron armor: Material that can be used for making iron armors.
Bag of old relics: An item to be sold. It is worth 1000000 of gold.
Mimic core: Unlike the normal mimics, crafted mimics have different drops depending on what you let them eat.

Well, I managed to get the five types of skills written finally with good description of the types and explain how the extra drops work.

Well, also I put monster data while explaining this so it is a good chapter but short chapter.

If you liked this, hit the vote button! That always helps.
Any question about Dreamland, pass a comment around the chapters of Monsterpedia and I will answer as best as I can.
