Elua's POV.
I stop walking as I feel a presence behind us, I turn around and see a huge spirt with six legs and black and white markings.
"Uh, Aang?" I say as I stare at the spirit, he turns around and gasps.
"You must be the Hei-Bai spirit. My name is-" Aang starts to say but he is cut off by a blast of air and blue energy from the mouth of the spirt. The spirit supports itself upon its hind-legs and roars, releasing another jet of blue energy from its mouth. It gets back on all six legs and then charges into the village, ignoring Aang and I, leaving us behind. Aang and I turn to address the spirit as it moves in.
"My name is Aang and this is my sister Elua! We're the Avatar and Nadir! We would like to help!" Aang shouts to it. "Hey, wait up!" He says. We run after the spirit as it destroys two houses and a watchtower using its strength and blue energy."Um..." I say trying to think of what to do.
"Please, would you stop destroying things and listen?" Aang asks as we jump on top of the building. We see Hei-Bai pounding a building into the ground with his fists. "I'm just trying to do my job as spirit bridge," He says desperately.
"Excuse me, would you please turn around?" I ask the spirit as it continues to pound the house down. "I command you to turn around now!" I shout, which wasn't the best idea. The spirit does indeed turn around, swatting Aang and I off the top of the building. We fly through the air and hit a nearby roof before we slide off and collapse on the ground."Hei-Bai, Over here!" I hear Sokka shout. I quickly look up and see Sokka is trying to get its attention as he throws his boomerang at it.
"Sokka, go back inside!" I shout to him, he quickly walks over to Aang and I.
"We'll fight him together," Sokka says.
"We don't wanna fight him unless we-!" I start to say but, I'm cut off as Hei-Bai walks over to us, grabs Sokka and begins to take off into the forest. Aang and I open out gliders and begin following them through the forest.
"Over here!" Sokka shouts as Hei-Bai enters the wasteland we had found earlier that day."Help!" He shouts in fear as Hei-Bai continues to run faster.
"Hang on, Sokka!" I shout back as I grab his hand, I start to pull him out of Hei-Bai's grip but as I do, they both vanish causing me to fall out of the sky. I land on the ground with a thud.
"I can't do anything correctly, can I?" I ask myself, Aang flies down and lands in front of me.
"Are you okay, Elua?" Aang asks as he holds out his hand to me.
"I'm alright. Sorry, I'm not very good at this," I say as I take his hand and stand up.
"I'm not either," He says sadly.
"Come on we should go tell Katara," I say as we begin to walk back to the village. When we get back to the village we see Katara and the old man from earlier talking.
"Katara, we lost him," I tell her sadly, but she nor the man beside her seem to see me.
"The sun is rising. Perhaps they will return soon." The man says.
"What? No, we're right here!" Aang exclaims. I look down at my hands, they're a crystal blue color and I could see through them.
"Aang, we're in the spirit world," I tell him as I look up from my hands. He looks down at his hands and gasps.
"What do we do?" He asks me, I shake my head."I-I don't know."
Later That Night.
Aang and I are sitting with Katara, even though she can't see us.
"We'll figure this out, Katara, I promise. Like they said, Elua and I are the bridge between the worlds, right? All we have to do is...figure out what we have to do. But once we do that, no problem!" Aang says pretending to be okay. We look to our left and see Appa walk over to Katara. He grunts and puts his nose up to her.
"Appa! Hey buddy, I'm right here," Aang says smiling, Appa doesn't see him. "I guess you can't see me either," He says as his smile fades away."It's ok, Appa. I'm sure they're on their way back. I bet they even found you a bunch of moon peaches for a treat." Katara says to Appa as she walks back into the village, Appa in tow.
"What am I supposed to do?" Aang asks me, I sigh in sadness.
"I don't know," I say truthfully.
"Avatar Roku, how can I talk to you?" Aang shouts. But, he gets no response. He looks down in despair, I notice something and look down the path.
"Sokka?" I call out.A light shines from down the path and I see a blue spirit dragon flying toward us.
"That's definitely not Sokka!" Aang says as we open our gliders and take flight back into the village, but we hit the ground a few feet away. Aang gets up and tries to airbend the glider off the ground, but nothing happens. Aang looks down at his hands in disbelief.
"Aang, we can't bend in the spirit world," I tell him, that was one thing I knew.
"What?" Aang asks me in shock as we turn back to the blue spirit dragon bearing down at us.
