Elua's POV.
We all sit around the campfire as Aang stands in front of us smiling, his idea was not a good idea.
"Aang, I'm trying to be mature and not immediately shoot down your idea. But it sounds...really terrible," Sokka says.
"Yeah, we got our outfits. What do you need to go to school for?" Toph asks with a frown of confusion.
"Every minute I'm in that classroom. I'm learning new things about the Fire Nation. I already have a picture of Fire Lord Ozai," Aang says as he holds out a photo of the Fire Lord. "And here's one that I made out of noodles!" He says holding up a piece of paper with noodles glued to it.
"Impressive, I admit," Sokka says as he studies the picture. "But, I still think it's too dangerous," He states.
"I guess we'll never find out about the secret river then. It goes right to the Fire Lord's palace," Aang says. I glare at him, knowing what he was trying to do. "We were supposed to learn about it in class tomorrow..." He trails off, trying to get Sokka to agree.
"Hmm...I am a fan of secret rivers," Sokka mumbles. Oh, come on! "Fine, let's stay a few more days," He says nodding, I turn to him, I can not believe this."Sokka!" I shout disapprovingly.
"What? I like secret rivers," He tells me. I shake my head as I turn over to her Aang to tell him no but, he was looking at me with such pleading eyes, I couldn't. I sigh.
"You better be careful," I tell Aang, making him smile wide.
"Flamey-o, Hotman!" Aang says in excitement and then turns around and runs over to Appa.
"Flamey-o??" Sokka asks me in confusion. I shrug my shoulders, I don't even know anymore. The Next Day.
Aang had just gotten back from the Fire Nation school, a not so happy look on his face telling me that something had happened.
"What happened?" I ask him worriedly.
"I, uh, kinda got in trouble," Aang says rubbing the back of his head nervously.
"Oh no, what did you do?" Katara asks nervously.
"I kinda got in a fight and now I'm supposed to bring my parents to the headmaster," He explains sheepishly.
"What!?" Sokka shouts as he stands up from where he was sitting. I sigh as I shake my head, I knew this was a bad idea.
"What do we do now?" Toph asks. I sigh as I try to think of a solution."We'll be your parents!" Sokka suddenly exclaims, making all of us look over to him in confusion. "I'll pretend to be your father and Elua can pretend to be your mother," He says, everyone seems to be considering it.
"What? Why do I have to do it? I was the one that thought this was a bad idea!" I tell him as I cross my arms and look over to him in annoyance.
"Because Katara and I look too much alike and Toph is too young. Plus, you look like Aang and you know how to boss people around, they'll believe it," Sokka explains. I sigh and shake my head.
"This whole thing is a bad idea."
Sokka, Aang, and I were now sitting in the office of the Headmaster, and I already hated this.
"Thank you for coming, Mr. And Mrs..." The Headmaster trails off.
"Fire! Wang Fire," Sokka says as he brushes through the fake beard on his face. "This is my wife, Sapphire," He says as he motions to me. Oh yes, the Fire's.
"Sapphire Fire, nice to meet you," I say with a very fake happy smile.
"Mr. and Mrs...Fire, your son has been enrolled here for two days, and he's already causing problems. He's argued with his history teacher, disrupted music class, and roughed up my star pupil," The Headmaster tells us with an annoyed look on his face.
"My goodness! That doesn't sound like our Kuzon," I say, playing the 'overly nice mother'.
"That's what any mother would say, ma'am," The Headmaster says with a sigh. "Nonetheless, you're forewarned. If he acts up one more time, I'll have him sent to reform school...by which I mean the coal mines. Are we clear?" He asks us, though it sounded more like a threat.
"Don't you worry, Mr. Headmaster. I'll straighten this boy out somethin' fierce," Sokka says in a forced deeper voice as he stands up and grabs Aang's shoulders. "Young man, as soon as we get home, you're gonna get the punishment of a lifetime!" He shouts at Aang overdramatically.
"That's what I like to hear," The Headmaster says with a smirk as we all stand up and walk out of the Headmaster's office.
Later. We had told Katara and Toph what happened in The Headmaster's office and were now standing in front of Aang, unsure of what to do now.
"That settles it. No more school for you young man!" Sokka yells at Aang, still acting like a father. "I'm not ready to leave. I'm having fun for once, just being a normal kid," Aang says as he walks over to Appa. "You don't know what it's like, Sokka. You get to be normal all the time," He tells Sokka, who glares at him. Toph laughs mockingly and Sokka turns his glare at her.
"Listen, guys, those kids at school are the future of the Fire Nation. If we wanna change this place for the better, we need to show them a little taste of freedom," Aang states.
"What could you possibly do for a country of deprived little fire monsters?" Sokka asks.
"I'm gonna throw them...a secret dance party!" Aang says as he does a little dance, we all look at him confused and shocked.
"Go to your room!" Sokka shouts pointing at the wall. In the end, we agree to go along with Aang's plan. Maybe he was right though, they are the future of this Nation and if we don't want people to be against us, we need to show them what freedom is really like.
"Your brother is crazy," Sokka says as he walks over to me.
"Maybe, but this might help the kids at the school see how controlling the Fire Nation really is," I suggest."Yeah, lets throw a party for future murderers," He says sarcastically.
"Sokka, they're children. They're not all bad," I tell him as we set up a few candles on rocks around the cave.
"Sure they aren't," Sokka says sarcastically. I give him a disapproving look, making him sigh and stop talking for a moment. "Look, I just don't want you or the others getting hurt," He tells me gently.
"We won't. The first sign of danger and we'll leave, okay?" I ask with a small smile.
"Okay," He agrees as he leans down and kisses my cheek. We both turn around as we hear footsteps and see several kids walking into the cave. Well, here we go.
