Elua's POV.
A few days ago we had gone to a village celebration known as 'Avatar day', but it turned out that they hated the Avatar and believed that Kyoshi murdered their leader 400 years ago. Long story short, we proved them wrong, saved the village from Fire Nation soldiers, and they now believe the Avatar is a good thing. We were now in a different village in the Earth Kingdom, standing in front of a shop as Sokka looks at a green bag.
"It's pricey, but I really do like it," Sokka says as he stares at the bag, wondering if he should buy it or not.
"Then you should get it. You deserve something nice," Katara tells him with a kind smile.
"I do, don't I?" Sokka says smiling, but his smile quickly fades. "But no. It's too expensive, I shouldn't," He says indecisively.
"Alright, then don't," Katara says, being to get annoyed. Sokka's shoulders slump as we walk away, but he quickly turns back around.
"You know what? I'm gonna get it," Sokka states. We all sigh as he walks back over to the shop. As we wait, a man comes up to us with flyers in his hand.
"Psst, psst. Hey, you kids like earthbending? Do you like throwing rocks?" The man asks us, we look at him confused.
"Then check out Master Yu's Earthbending Academy," He tells us as he hands Aang a flyer of an earthbending academy and then quickly walks away.
"There's a coupon on the back, the first lesson is free," Aang says as he looks at the flyer.
"Who knows? This Master Yu could be the earthbending teacher you've been looking for," Katara suggests as Sokka walks back over to us, bag in hand, and we walk over to Master Yu's academy. Aang walks in, but I don't.
"Aren't you going in too?" Katara asks me.
"No, I'm more advanced than them. I'd just end up hurting them," I tell her as we sit down and wait for the lesson to end.
After a little while, Aang walks out of the academy as he brushes all the dirt off his clothes and shoes.
"He's not the one," Aang states as he walks over to us shaking his head.
"I'm sure we'll find someone soon," I say, trying to reassure him.
"I think The Boulder is gonna win back the belt," We hear a boy say as he and his friend walk out of the building Aang was just in.
"He's gonna have to fight his way through the best earthbenders in the world to even get a shot at the champ," The other boy states.
"Excuse me, but where is this earthbending tournament exactly?" Aang asks as he walks over to the two teens with a kind smile.
"It's on the Island of Noneya, none o' ya business!" The first kid says as he and his friend walk away laughing.
"Hahaha!" Sokka laughs as we walk over to Aang "Oh, I got to remember that one," He says as he wipes his tears of laughter away. Katara and I look at each other with the same idea in mind and smirk at each other. I put my hand on Aang's shoulder and give him a small smile.
"Katara and I will take care of this," I tell him as Katara and I begin to walk in the direction of the two teen boys.
"Hey, strong guys! Wait up!" We both shout as we follow them around a corner. They both turn around and look at us with smirks on their faces.
"Why are two beautiful girls like you two, hanging around those losers back there?" One of them asks smugly. Katara and I look at each other and grin, we both quickly draw water from two pots beside us, throwing it forward and freezing them both to the walls.
"Tell us where the earthbending tournament is," I order them calmly, but the look in my eyes doesn't match my tone.
"Ahh!" They both shout in fear as they try to move, but can't.
"Earth Rumble 6! It's at Earth Rumble 6!" The first teen shouts.
"Thanks!" Katara and I both say as we turn around and walk away from them.
"You ready to find an earthbending teacher? Because we're going to Earth Rumble 6!" Katara tells the boys as we walk over to them, they both look confused.
"How did you get them to tell you?" Aang asks in confusion."Oh, us girls have our ways."
Later That Day.
We walk into the Earthbending tournament, everyone was sitting at the highest points of the seats and they were already cheering
"Hey, front row seats!" Aang says as we find seats in the front row. "I wonder why no one is sitting here," He says, right as a giant boulder comes flying at us and hits the seats next to us. We all look down at it with wide eyes.
"...That's why," I say as we sit down and a man walks out into the arena.
"Welcome to Earth Rumble 6! I am your host, Xin Fu!" The man, Xin fu, shouts and everyone begins to cheer louder.
"This is just gonna be a bunch of guys chuckin' rocks at each other, isn't it?" Katara asks.
"That's what I paid for," Sokka tells her smiling.
"The rules are simple. Just knock the other guy out of the ring and you win," Xin Fu states. "Round one! The Boulder versus The Big Bad Hippo!" He shouts as two men stand across from each other, one of them was more muscular and the other was tall and heavy set.
"Listen up, Hippo. You may be big, but you ain't bad!" 'The Boulder says'. "The Boulder's gonna win this in a landslide!" He shouts.
"Hippo mad!" The Hippo shouts as he earthbends a giant rock up from the ground. I sigh as I lean back and shake my head. Katara was right, this was just going to be a bunch of fighting and yelling. After they throw rock after rock after rock...The Hippo is knocked out of the arena and everyone cheers. The same thing repeats with several people, The Boulder taking them all down.
"Now, the moment you've all been waiting for," Xin Fu says. "The Boulder versus your champion...The Blind Bandit!" He shouts as a short girl walks into the arena, her eyes were a grey color and seemed to actually be blind.
"She can't really be blind. It's just part of her character, right?" Katara asks with a frown.
"I think she is," Aang says as he leans forward in interest. He stares at the girl as if he had seen her before.
"I think she is...going down!" Sokka shouts as he stands up and cheers for The Boulder.
The Blind Bandit stands still as she holds out her hands, The Boulder stomps his foot down and the blind girl somehow senses his movement and knocks him down. After just a short few minutes, The Blind Bandit knocks The Boulder out of the arena and everyone cheers in victory. Well, except Sokka of course.
"How did she do that?" Katara asks in astonishment.
"She waited," Aang says with a smile.
"And listened," I add.
"To make things a little more interesting, I'm offering up this sack of gold pieces to anyone who can defeat The Blind Bandit!" Xin Fu shouts, but everyone stays silent and doesn't move. "No one dares to face her?" He asks the silent crowd in fake shock.
"I will!" Aang shouts as raises his hand, stands up and walks to the arena. I sigh and facepalm as I shake my head, why must he do these things?
"Go Aang! Avenge The Boulder!" Sokka shouts excitedly.
"Do people really want to see two little girls fighting out here?" The girl asks smirking, making the crowd 'Oooh'.
"I don't really want to fight you. I want to talk to you," Aang tells her calmly.
"Boo! No talking!" Sokka shouts. I look over to him with a small glare.
"Don't boo at him!" Katara yells as she hits Sokka's shoulder. The blind girl throws rock after rock at Aang, but he avoids them using Airbending techniques and eventually, airbends her out of the arena. Everyone seems shocked for a moment, but soon they all begin to cheer.
