Elua's POV.

Aang and I had taken down several Fire Navy ships, but in the end, we are forced to retreat. Appa flies through the sky, flying away from the Fire Navy ships and back to the city. Where we land in front of Katara and Princess Yue. Appa lays down in exhaustion as Aang and I slip off of him. I turn around and look at the horizon where the Fire Navy ships float, they had stopped firing...for now, that is.
"I can't do it. I can't do it," I hear Aang mumble. I turn around and see him hugging his knees.

"What happened?" Katara asks worriedly as she and Yue run over to us.
"We must have taken out a dozen Fire Navy ships," I tell her as I turn around. "But, there's just too many of them," I say as I look down in defeat.
"We can't fight them all," Aang says as he looks up at Katara sadly.
"But, you have to!" Yue says. "You're the Avatar!" She says with a worried look.
"I'm just a kid," Aang says with a look of despair as he buries his head in his arms. Katara and I look at each other sadly as we both sit down to comfort him.

That Night.

Katara, Aang, Yue, and I were standing on a balcony. We were looking up at the glowing moon in the night sky above us and talking, as the battle had settled for the time being.
"The legends say the moon was the first waterbender," Yue states. "Our ancestors saw how it pushed and pulled the tides and learned how to do it themselves," She explains.
"I've always noticed my waterbending is stronger at night," Katara says in realization.
"Our strength comes from the Spirit of the Moon, our life comes from the Spirit of the Ocean. They work together to keep balance," Yue tells us, and my sour mood suddenly lifts.

"The Spirits!" I exclaim, the other two girls look at me confused. "Maybe Aang and I can find them and get their help!" I say with a smile, and I see Aang's head perk up.
"How can you do that?" Yue asks in confusion.
"The Avatar and Nadir are the bridges between our world and the Spirit World," Katara tells her with a small smile. "Aang and Elua can talk to them!" She says with hope.
"Maybe they'll give you the wisdom to win this battle!" Yue says beaming.

"Or, maybe they'll unleash a crazy amazing spirit attack on the Fire Nation!" Aang says grinning. We all look at him confused, he seems to notice our looks and smiles sheepishly.
"Or wisdom. That's good too." Aang says a little awkwardly.
"The only problem is, last time you got to the Spirit World by accident," Katara reminds us, our smiles drop. "How are you going to get there this time?" She asks us.
"I have an idea," Yue suddenly says. "Follow me," She tells us as she begins to walk. Yue leads us down the stairs and down a path until we come to a half-height wooden door in the middle of a wall.

"So...is this the way to the Spirit World?" Aang asks hopefully, making Yue giggle.
"No, you'll have to get there on your own," Yue says with a soft smile. "But, I can take you to the most spiritual place in the entire North Pole," She tells him as she opens the door and we walk in, a sudden wave of warm air and a feeling of comfort washes over me as I walk in. I look up and see two wooden bridges leading to a small grassy area, where an arch sits in the middle of the small little island. I watch as Aang runs across one of the bridges and flops on the green grass laughing.

"I never thought I'd miss grass this much!" Aang says as he rolls around on the ground.
"It's so warm here!" Katara says in shock and confusion, but she smiles at the feeling. "How is that possible?" She asks as she takes off her warm coat.
"It's the center of all spiritual energy in our land," Yue answers.
"You're right, Yue," I say as I walk under the wooden arch and Aang follows. "It feels very tranquil," I say as Aang and I sit down on the grass cross-legged and begin to meditate.
"Why are they sitting like that?" I hear Yue whisper after a while of silence.

"They're meditating, trying to cross over into the Spirit World," Katara whispers back. "It takes all his concentration," She states.
"Is there any way we can help?" Yue asks.
"How 'bout some quiet!?" Aang shouts, suddenly becoming frustrated.
"He's right," I sigh as I open my eyes and look over to them. "We're not deaf, we can hear perfectly well," I tell them, they nod and stop talking. We close our eyes as we go back to meditating, and eventually, we get to the spirit world.
