Elua's POV.
"You realize we're probably walking right into a trap?" Sokka asks as we walk down a rocky hill towards Appa.
"I don't think so," Aang says as I hold the Governor's son.
"I'm sure the Governor wants his son back as much as we want Bumi," I state as the baby sleeps soundly.
"It's a new day. I have a good feeling about this," Aang says with a small smile as we all get on Appa and make our way back to Omashu.Later.
We stand on a wooden platform, Sokka holds the Governor's son. Three teenage girls stand in front of us as Bumi is lowered down in a metal cage.
"Hi, everybody!" Bumi says smiling.
"You brought my brother?" The girl who had attacked us earlier asks, not seeming to really care.
"He's here," I say as I motion to the child.
"We're ready to trade," Aang tells her.
"I'm sorry, but a thought just occurred to me. Do you mind?" Another girl asks."Of course not, Princess Azula," The gloomy one says. Oh great, more of the Fire Nation Royal family. Just what we need.
"We're trading a two-year-old for a king. A powerful, earthbending king. It just doesn't seem like a fair trade, does it?" Azula asks with a small smirk.
"...You're right," Gloomy girl says. "The deals off," She says as she raises her hand and Bumi is taken back up.
"Whoohoo, see you all later!" Bumi says smiling and laughing.
"Bumi!" Aang shouts as he begins to run after him.
"Aang wait!" I shout, but I'm too late. Aang opens his glider and flies into the air, his headpiece flying off and exposing his tattoos. The Princess runs after Aang, I'm about to follow after them, but the other two girls start to run at us.
"We need to get the baby out of here!" Katara shouts.
"Way ahead of ya," Sokka says as he blows the bison whistle and we start to run, but one of the girls hits Sokka's foot, making him almost fall over the edge of the wooden platform we stand on. The girl in pink starts to run towards Sokka and the baby, but I waterbend a whip around her leg making her fall as Katara attacks the gloomy girl.
Sokka climbs down a latter as Katara and I continue to fight the girls. The girl in pink tries to chi block me, but I grab her hand and stop her.
"I've seen that move to many times," I tell her with a glare, she looks shocked and confused. She gets out of grip and starts to run towards Katara, and I chase after her.
"Katara!" I shout, trying to warn her but I'm too late and the girl chi blocks her. Katara tries to bend the water again, but she can't.
"How are you going to fight without your bending?" The gloomy girl asks with a smirk as she gets ready to attack, but suddenly something hits her hand.
"I seem to manage!" Sokka shouts as Appa flies down to us.
Appa hits his tail on the platform, sending a gust of air at the girls and making them fly back as we quickly get on Appa and take off. We all look around for Aang, but so far don't see anyone.
"There's Aang!" Katara suddenly shouts as she spots him sliding down the mailing system with Bumi still in the metal cage, the Fire Nation Princess behind them.
"We can catch him!" Sokka says as Appa flies faster down to Aang. Aang sees us and airbends him and Bumi over Appa, we try to catch him but we can't and they fall. I look down to where they landed and see a huge ball of blue fire heading towards them, but somehow Bumi earth bends it away, stopping the Princess from following them and letting them escape.
I sigh in relief as we fly down to the building Bumi and Aang had escaped too and find an opening in it. Aang jumps on Appa and we take off, without Bumi.
"What about Bumi?" Katara asks.
"He's not coming," Aang says sadly. "He's not meant to be our earthbending teacher," He tells me, I smile and nod in understanding.
"So, what do we do with the kid?" Sokka asks as he holds the baby, who is smiling at Momo.
"I'll take him back to his parents," I state as we land somewhere safe. I hop off Appa and hold my arms out to Sokka, he hands me the baby and I make my way to where the Governor and his wife should be.
I airbend onto a rooftop and look down to see the Governor and his wife hugging in sorrow on a balcony.
"Mama," The baby whispers as he points down to them. I smile as I airbend down as quietly as I can, but they seem to hear me and turn around as I set their son down and he waddles over to them happily.
"Tomtom!" They shout smiling wide as they run over to him and pick him up, hugging him in relief and happiness. I expect them to be hostile to me, but The Governor's wife smiles at me kindly.
"Thank you," She says, I nod and smile as I airbend back onto the rooftops and make my way make to the others.
