Elua's POV.
"Detain the assailants," Long Feng orders the Dai Lee.
"But, we dropped our weapons. We're your allies," Sokka tells the King.
"Make sure the Avatar, Nadir, and their friends never see daylight again," Feng orders the Dai Lee as he glares at us.
"The Avatar and Nadir? You're the Avatar and Nadir?" The King asks in shock pointing to Sokka and Katara, they both frown in confusion.
"Uh, no. They are," Sokka says nodding to Aang and I.
"Over here," We say, getting his attention. The King smiles at us.
"What does it matter Your Highness? They're enemies of the state," Feng tells him.
"Perhaps you're right," The King says uncertainly. The King's bear walks over to Aang and licks his faces, making him chuckle. "Though Bosco seems to like them. I'll hear what he has to say" The King states.
"Well, sir, there is a war going on right now. For the past 100 years, in fact," Aang informs him.
"The Dai Li's kept it secret from you. It's a conspiracy to control the city and to control you," I tell him, he looks aghast at this accusation.
"A secret war? That's crazy!" The King exclaims.
"Completely!" Feng shouts in agreeance, trying to get him to lock us up.
"Long Feng didn't want us to tell you, so he stole our Sky Bison to blackmail us," I tell the King.
"And blackmail is the least of his crimes, he brainwashed our friend!" Aang shouts, glaring at the evil man in front of us.
"All lies. I've never even seen a Sky Bison, Your Majesty. Frankly, I thought they were extinct," Feng lies to his King.
"Your claim is difficult to believe, even from an Avatar and Nadir," The King says, scratching his head.
"These hooligans are part of an anarchist cell that my agents have been tracking for weeks. If you listen to them, you're playing right into your own destruction," Feng tells the King."...I have to trust my advisor," The King says as he looks away from us and the Dai Lee starts to take us away.
"Wait, I can prove he's lying," Sokka says as he turns around. "Long Feng said he's never seen a Sky Bison, ask him to lift his robe," He tells the King.
"What?! I am not disrobing!" Feng shouts. Sokka looks over to Aang, who sends a gust of wind at Long Feng, exposing the bite mark on his leg.
"Right there! Appa bit him," Aang states. Feng glares at him as he fixes his clothing.
"Never met a Sky Bison, huh?" Sokka asks smugly.
"That happens to be a large birthmark. Thanks for showing everyone," Feng lies.
"Well, I suppose there's no way to prove where those marks came from," The King says.
"Of course there is!" I exclaim. Appa is led into the throne room and stands in front of the King, we comparing Appa's teeth to the mark on Long Feng's leg.
"Yup, that pretty much proves it," The King says and we cheer. "But, it doesn't prove this crazy conspiracy theory," He tells us.
"Awww," We say in disappointment.
"Though, I suppose this matter is worth looking into," The King says, finally being reasonable."Uh, ok, we'll take it. Yeah."
Later.
The King, Sokka, Katara, and Toph were all on the train, while Aang and I were on Appa flying next to the train.
"Aang?" I call as I sit on Appa's back, behind Aang.
"Yeah?" Aang says as he looks back at me.
"I'm sorry for what I said, about Appa. I was just trying to do what was best for the world," I tell him, somewhat ashamed of myself.
"It's alright, I know you only meant good," He tells me with a smile.
"You know I love you, right?" I ask him with a smile, he nods.
"I know," He states. "I love you too," He says. We laugh at how, in the words of Sokka, mushy we were being.
We land on the sands of Lake Laogai, Toph bends the opening of the underwater bunker, but it was destroyed and just a bunch of rocks now.
"It's gone!" Toph exclaims.
"Oh, don't tell me...That's ok, still got my positive attitude," Sokka says breathing calmly.
"The Dai Li must have known we were coming and destroyed the evidence," Katara says.
"Hmm. That seems awfully convenient," The King says, beginning to lose faith in us.
"Hey, if anything, this proves the conspiracy exists even more," Sokka tells him.
"Long Feng was right, this was a waste of time," The King says as he shakes his head. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going back to the palace," He says as he turns away from us.
"The wall! They'll never be able to cover that up in time!" Katara says, her hope rising again at the thought of the drill."If you come with us to the outer wall, we can prove to you that the secret war is real!" I tell the King as he turns back around.
"No Earth King has ever been to the outer wall. I don't have any more time for this nonsense," The King tells me.
"If you come with us, this time you can ride on Appa," Sokka says smirking, the King looks at him with a small smile and nods. We all get onto Appa and make our way towards the outer wall.
"Ahhhh!" The King shouts as he holds on tight.
"First time flying?" Toph asks him.
"Its both thrilling and terrifying," The King says as he looks around in awe.
"Yeah, I hate it too" Toph states.
"I have to be honest with you. Part of me really hopes that what you are telling me about this war isn't true," The King says with a frown.
"I wish it wasn't," Aang and I whisper. By the time we get to the wall, the sun is beginning to set, but the Fire Nation drill is still there.
"It's still there!" Aang says with a smile.
"What is that?" The King asks as he looks down at it in shock.
"It's a drill. A giant drill made by the Fire Nation, to break through your walls," Sokka tells him.
"I can't believe I never knew," The King says in shock as he leans against the edge of the wall.
"I can explain this, Your Majesty," Long Feng says as he and a few Dai Lee agents walk over to us. "This is nothing more than...a construction project," He lies."Really? then perhaps you can explain why there's a Fire Nation insignia on your construction project," I say as I cross my arms and glare at him.
"Well, it's imported of course. You know you can't trust domestic machinery," Long Feng says with a fake smile, but the King doesn't seem to believe him. "Surely you don't believe these children, instead of your most loyal attendant?!" He asks the King in shock.
"Dai Lee, arrest Long Feng. I want him to stand trial for crimes against the Earth Kingdom," The King orders and the Dai Lee agents begin to take Long Feng away.
"You can't arrest me. You all need me more than you know!" Feng shouts as he is dragged away.
"Looks like Long Feng is 'long gone'!" Sokka says smirking. "Ha...oh, yeah, I've been waitin' to use that one," He laughs as we all smile that Long Feng is finally gone.
