Sokka's POV. (Bet you didn't see that coming)

Aang had somehow convinced me to go with him to the top of a mountain to get some stupid flower, so here I am scaling the mountain.
"I can't believe you're dragging me all the way up here for a stupid flower," I say as I look down and see how high off the ground we are.
"Not just any flower, a panda lily," Aang states. "I've seen it in action and boy does it work," He says happily.

"Flowers are fine once you're married, but at this early stage, it's critical that you maintain maximum aloofness," I inform him.
"But, my heart is telling me to get this flower, and Aunt Wu said if I trusted my heart I would be with the one I love," Aang says, I groan in annoyance.
"What? Don't tell me you believe in that stuff too," I say with a frown, all this stuff was so stupid.
"Well, Aunt Wu hasn't been wrong yet," Aang states. "Why should she be wrong about love?" He asks as we get to the top of the mountain.

"There, on the rim!" Aang says pointing to something, I look and see the panda lilies on the rim of the volcano. Aang picks one of the flowers and smells it, but he suddenly looks down and gasps. I follow his gaze and see a blazing radiance arising from the volcano, lava.
"Oh no! Aunt Wu was wrong," Aang says in shock as he drops the flower into the lava.
"Those people all think they're safe. We've got to warn 'em," I state as I look down at the village.
"There's no time to walk. Grab on," Aang tells me as he opens his glider and grabs me as we launch into the air.

"AHHH!" I shout as I look down at the ground far below us. I sigh in relief as we get to the village and land. We quickly walk over to Katara, who is standing in front of Aunt Wu's building.
"Hi, Katara," Aang says, she turns to us with a frown.
"Can you believe she won't let me in? And after all the business I've given her?" Katara asks.
"But, she doesn't even charge," Aang states with a frown of confusion.
"I know, but still," Katara says.
"Well, we have other things to worry about," I tell her.

"Aunt Wu was wrong about the volcano," I state, she looks at me annoyed.
"Sokka, you tried to convince me she was wrong before," Katara sighs. "It's going to take an awful lot to change my min-" She starts to say, but is cut off by the sound of the mountain erupting. We look up at the mountain that smoke and ash is now flying out of.
"Oh, no!" Katara shouts as we run to where all the villagers had now gathered.

Elua's POV.

I look around the village, after I had seen the volcano begin to erupt I knew Aunt Wu was wrong. I see everyone gathered and Sokka talking to them, probably trying t get them to listen.
"Everyone! That volcano is gonna blow any second. Aunt Wu was wrong!" Sokka shouts.
"Yeah, yeah, we know you don't believe in Aunt Wu, 'Mr. Science and Reason Lover.'" A woman in the crowd says ras she rolls her eyes.

"If you won't listen to him, maybe you'll listen to me," Katara says as she steps in front of her brother. "I want to believe Aunt Wu and her predictions as much as you do, but my brother and Aang saw the lava with their own eyes," She tells everyone, but no one seems to care.
"Well, I heard Aunt Wu's prediction with my own ears." A man says as he crosses his arms. I watch as Aang airbends himself up onto the roof of a building behind them.
"Please listen to us! You are all in danger! And we have to get out of here," Aang tells them.

"You can't rely on Aunt Wu's prediction. You have to take fate into your own hands," He states.
"Look! Can your fortunetelling explain that?" Sokka asks them pointing to the smoke that is flowing out of the volcano and into the sky.
"Can your science explain why it rains?" A man asks him, think he's being smug.
"Yes! Yes, it can!" Sokka shouts annoyed. Aang jumps down and walks over to Katara and Sokka.
"They just won't listen to reason," Katara says.

"But, they will listen to Aunt Wu," Aang states as he smiles, seeming to get an idea.
"I know, that's the problem," Sokka tells him.
"Well, it's about to become the solution," Aang states. "We're taking fate in our own hands. First, I need to borrow Aunt Wu's cloud reading book," He tells them.
"Okay," Katara says with a nod, she then looks around. "Wheres Elua?" She asks them, Sokka rubs the back of his head.
