Elua's POV.
"It's those three girls from Omashu!" Katara exclaims as the three girls run towards us.
"We can take 'em. Three on four," Toph says as we take bending stances and get ready for a fight.
"Actually, Toph, there's five of us," Sokka reminds her.
"Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't count you. You know, no bending and all," Toph says shrugging her shoulders.
"I can still fight!" Sokka shouts with a crazed look on his face.
"Okay. Three on four-plus Sokka," Toph says as she earthbends spikes of rocks out of the ground and sends them at the girls in front of us, but they easily dodge all of them."Well, we wanted to find out who they were. We found out. Now let's get out of here," Sokka says. We all run over to Appa as Toph bends a rock wall between us and the girls, blocking them from following us. We all quickly hop on Appa and we take off, yet again.
"I can't believe those girls followed us all the way from Omashu," Katara says as we fly.
"I still think we could've taken them," Toph says confidently.
"Are you kidding? The crazy blue firebending and the flying daggers are bad enough, but last time we saw them one of those girls did something that took my bending away," Katara tells her as she looks away. "That's scary," She states with a hint of fear in her voice."Oh no, the sun is rising!" Sokka says as the sun begins to rise over the mountains. "We've been up all night with no sleep," He says as he hangs his head in tiredness.
"Sokka, we'll be okay," I tell him shaking my head at his overdramatic ways.
"Are you sure!? I've never not slept before! What if I fall asleep now and something happens? And something always happens!" Sokka shouts dramatically as he puts his hands on his head.
"Calm. Down," I tell him calmly as he freaks out.
"Every time we land, those girls are there, so we'll just have to keep flying," Katara states.
"We can't keep flying forever," Aang says.
Eventually, we all fall asleep. But soon after, I wake up to the feeling of falling. I open my eyes and see that Appa has fallen asleep, and we're falling fast.
"What's going on!?" Toph shouts as she tries to hang on.
"Appa fell asleep!" Aang shouts back. I start to fly off Appa but, Sokka catches my hand and I grab onto his waist. Right before we hit the trees, Appa wakes up and brings us to a safe landing.
"Okay, we've put a lot of distance between us and them. The plan now is to follow Appa's lead and get some sleep," Sokka says as he takes his sleeping bag and begins to lay it out.
"Of course, we could have gotten some sleep earlier if Toph didn't have such issues," Katara says as she glares over at Toph. Great, this again."What!?" Toph shouts in fury.
"Alright, alright! Everyone's exhausted. Let's just get some rest," I tell them, getting really sick of their petty fighting.
"No! I want to hear what Katara has to say," Toph says with a scowl. "You think I have issues?" She asks in anger and offense.
"I'm just saying, maybe if you helped out earlier we could've set up our camp faster and gotten some sleep and then maybe we wouldn't be in this situation!" Katara shouts at her.
"You're blaming me for this!?" Toph shouts as she begins to walk over to her and Katara makes a 'fight me' motion with her hands.
"No, no! She's not blaming you!" Aang says as he stands in between them.
"No, I'm blaming her!" Katara says with a glare.
"Hey!" Toph says as she throws Aang out of the way. "I never asked you for diddly doo da. I carry my own weight! Besides, if there's anyone to blame, it's sheddy over here!" She says, pointing to Appa.
"What? You're blaming Appa?!" Aang asks her, getting annoyed with her.
"Yeah! You wanna know how they keep finding us?" Toph asks as she walks over to Appa. "He's leaving a trail everywhere we go!" She shouts as she takes a chunk of Appa's fur in her hand.
"How dare you blame Appa! He saved your life three times today!" Aang says, now obviously angry. "If there's anyone to blame, it's you! You're always talking about how you carry your own weight, but you're not! He is! Appa's carrying your weight! He never had a problem flying when it was just the four of us!" Aang shouts at her. Toph stops and stares at him, an emotionless expression on her face.
"Aang!" I say as I give him a disapproving look.
"I'm outta here," Toph says as she picks up her bag and starts to walk away.
"Wait," Sokka says as he stands in front of Toph, but she just earthbends him away and continues to walk away from us. Aang lifts his hands in the air, a look of shock forming on his face."What did I just do!?" Aang shouts as he flops on the ground. "I can't believe I yelled at my earthbending teacher. Now she's gone," He says sadly as his shoulders slump.
"I know. We're all just trying to get used to each other, and I was so mean to her," Katara says as she looks down in shame.
"Yeah, you two were pretty much jerks," Sokka tells them as he sips on a drink in his hand.
"Thanks, Sokka," Katara says sarcastically.
"No problem," Sokka says with a smile. I sigh as I pick up my staff and start to walk in the direction Toph went. "Oh, are you leaving too?" Sokka asks me.
"No, sadly I am stuck with you people," I say jokingly. "I'm going to find Toph, we need a teacher and she's all we got," I tell them as I turn around and take off.
