it was a sunny and silent october morning and most of the neighborhood still slept, well except for the jeon family that recently got a baby.

jungkook was a cute baby with big brown eyes, cute small lips and the cutest little nose, well at least most of the time...

mrs jeon tried to stop the baby from crying for about an hour now but the baby just wouldn't stop crying. she tried everything so the baby would stop but nothing helped, her older son was at the boarding school, mr jeon was grocery shopping so he couldn't help his wife either.

just then someone rang at the door resulting in jungkook crying even louder because he was startled of the loud noise. mrs jeon tried to hush the baby with his pacifier while she made her way to the door and as she opened the door there was their neighbor the 6 year old park jimin.

"hi mrs jeon, i'm here to ask if i'm allowed to play with jungkook for a little?" the little boy asked with hopeful eyes.

jimin was a good kid, always being nice and polite, he even helped mrs jeon a lot after she came home with jungkook and always loved to play with jungkook.

mrs jeon just wanted to explain to jimin that he should come back later because jungkook was crying too hard at the moment until she realized that her son had stopped crying and now looked at jimin with big eyes while making grabby hands at him.

jimin laughed and poked jungkook's nose with his finger resulting and jungkook giggling loudly, mrs jeon couldn't believe it, she had tried to calm jungkook down for almost an hour and jimin just had to appear and her son stopped crying.

she sighed and then nodded "of course come in, i just wanted to take a shower anyways so you can look after jungkook while i'll do that."

jimin nodded happily and then took jungkook into his arms going to the baby's room.

as she made her way to the bathroom she could hear her baby's happy squealing and laughing.

jungkook was 2 years old and was currently sitting at his window sulking as he saw his best friend playing with some of his classmates at the street. he wanted to play with them too, but they told him that he was too young and didn't want to play with him.

of course they told him that when jimin wasn't listening and so he made his way back to his room and now was watching them from afar.

jimin was 6 years older than jungkook but that was never a problem for them, jimin always treated him nice and they always had a lot of fun together. jimin had the talent to change jungkook in just a second, because jungkook usually was a shy and quiet kid but as soon as jimin appeared the 2 year old changed into a happy and loud kid.

the only problem was that jungkook was a kind of possessive person, he didn't like to share the things he liked and jimin was one of them. it was hard to explain to the little jungkook that jimin sometimes had to go to school and that jungkook wasn't his only friend.

"jungkook-ah?" a voice asked from the other side of his closed door "can i come in?" the voice asked again and as jungkook answered with a small yes the door was opened.

"hey, i saw you running back to your house, is everything okay?"

jungkook ignored the voice still looking out of the window trying to hold back his tears.

then he felt a hand on his shoulder turning him around to face with the other boy, and then was pulled onto the older's chest.

after that jungkook couldn't hold his tears back anymore and snuggled even nearer to his best friend.
