Chris's POV

I was with Aaron in his room, talking about nothing in particular, when my phone started ringing.

It was Trent. I looked at my watch and groaned. 1:30. The guests must've arrived.

"Yeah, I know dude. The guests are there." I said sighing.

"Yeah, and you better get over, quick. You're parents are looking for you already."

"Didn't I say that I wasn't going to eat lunch there?" I said, irritated.

"They didn't bring any chick over." Trent said, ignoring my question.

"Are you sure?"

"I don't see any." he said, annoyed.

"Fine. I'm coming over already." I sighed, then hung up.

"Business?" Aaron asked.

"Unfortunately." I sighed. "I better go."

He shrugged. Then his phone rang, and his face lit up when he saw the caller I.D.

"Have fun with Hannah," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Will do." he smirked.

I led myself out of his house and started walking back to mine.

That was when I saw three guys laughing and smoking weed somewhere behind Kenny's old house.

"Having fun, boys?" I said, walking closer to them. I didn't want them anywhere near Kenny's house. Even though she wasn't there.

"What do you care?" one of them spat. He grabbed a bottle of whiskey and took a swig. He swayed slightly and laughed drunkenly.

"Here," another one said. They were past sane. "Take it and go."

I looked at the bottle he passed in my hand. Cocaine.

"Are you nuts?" the third guy said. "That's mine!"

"Don't care." then he laughed.

"I don't want this shit." I said, gritting my teeth. "You bunch of low lives."

They looked at me, drunk but surprised.

The first one glared. "We're offering you this fucking shit and that's what we get in return?"

I ignored him and smashed the bottle to the ground, stepping on the powder. They gasped.

"Fucking ass!" one of them said. The first one aimed a punch at me, but I blocked it and grabbed his fist.

"Do you really want to try?" I said dangerously.

Kenny's POV

I wandered back to my old house, for some reason.

"Why here, of all places?" I mumbled to myself.

I saw the NO ENTRY sign taped to our front door. I hesitantly took a step and twisted the doorknob. It opened.

I peered in carefully and stepped inside. Memories and other feelings rushed towards me, as if the house itself was welcoming me home.

"I'm home," I whispered, smiling a bit.

I explored my old house a bit, opening the empty cupboards and sitting in the plastic covered chairs.

For some reason, the house wasn't dirty. It wasn't as messy as I expected it to be. the cupboards weren't rusty, and the furniture wasn't caked in dust.
