Kenny's POV
“UGH I hate this stupid crutch!” I complained.
“Oh sweetie, I know it’s bad, but you have to use it until your ankle gets better,” Mrs. K smiled sympathetically and patted my shoulder.
It’s been two weeks. While we were at the hospital, I somehow ended up twisting my ankle.
Yeah, ouch.
“Aw, does someone want a piggyback ride?” Stephen teased.
I stuck my tongue out. “Steeeepheeeeeeeeen,” I faked a sniffle. He rolled his eyes and turned around so I could get on his back.
“Yay!” I cheered jumping on his back, ignoring my ankle. Stephen ran around the room, once in a while pretending that he might drop me.
Everyone laughed while I whined to him for almost dropping me.
“When I get better, I wanna play leap frog!” I announced. Hannah giggled.
“Leap frog?” Every guy (in the room--minus Chris) repeated disbelievingly. They stared at me like I had magically turned into a mutant.
Weeeeiiiiird…
Chris laughed.
“What?” I huffed. “Leap frog is fun!”
"Not when your ankle's busted." Stephen said.
"I said! ...Whenever I get bet--
A nurse came in and said she needed to check on my ankle. Stephen dropped me on my bed and sat down, tired from all the running around.
“Please say her ankle won’t be healing until next year,” Aaron jokingly said to the nurse.
Nurse laughed. “Sorry. In three weeks, it should be just fine.”
“Thank yoooouuu,” I sighed, grateful that I didn’t have to use my crutches long.
Aaron faked disappointment while Hannah slapped his shoulder playfully.
“Great. Now in three weeks, we’ll all be playing leap frog.” he muttered.
I giggled, causing Chris to chuckle and Hannah to laugh and Charlotte to snicker and Stephen to smirk. Soon, everyone in the room was laughing.
See how great I am? *bats eyelashes*

When Chris and I were discharged from the hospital, a thought came to me.
“I wanna go to build a beeeaaaar!” I yelled, making Hannah jump.
Oops! Didn’t know she was standing right beside me.
Erik laughed. “You're such a kid,”
I ‘hmphed’ and crossed my arms. “Am not!”
“Are to!” he stuck his tongue out.
“Am not!”
“Are tooo~”
“Am nooooooot~”
“ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT.”
“ARE TOOOO.”
“AM NOT AM NOT AM NOT!”
“ARE TOO ARE TOO ARE TOO!”
It turned into one of the longest ‘am not’ ‘are too’ contest I’ve ever had.
