Aaron's POV

Luke picked up Hannah, who had fainted from exhaustion and shock and laid her down on Kenny's bed. I couldn't move from her side. She might lose her pulse.

The paramedics came in minutes, and it seemed to be in slow motion while they took Kenny away in a stretcher.

I called Trent and told him everything.

"I'll be right there." he said quickly.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Trent rang the bell to the Kingston's house again and again until a maid opened the door, irritated. Trent pushed her aside and stomped up to Chris's room. He was lounging on the chair, listening to music, unaware that his best friend was practically dying.

"Trent?" Chris said, confused. Without warning, Trent punched Chris square in the jaw.

"What th--"

"CHRIS, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! KENNY'S FUCKING DYING!" Trent yelled.

"SHE'S WHAT?!" Chris shouted back. He felt his panic rising with Trent's words.

Trent had stormed off, and Chris followed him into the car. They went to Kenny's house, and the police were there, taking Mrs. Heart away in handcuffs.

"Mrs. H?" Chris said incredulously.

"Chhriss?" she slurred.

Oh god. Chris thought. She's drunk.

"This woman hit her own daughter with a wine bottle." one of the officers muttered, shaking his head. "Poor girl,"

"WHERE'S KENNY?!" Chris screamed.

Chris's POV

"Sir--"

"WHERE IS SHE!?"

My phone started ringing to Addie's ring tone, but I ignored it.

"Chris!" Aaron stopped me from hitting the officer. I could get arrested for that, but I was losing my self control.

"She's at the hospital." Erik said.

"Hannah?"

"Passed out."

"Let's go." I said in a hard voice.

"I'll stay here with Hannah until she wakes up." Aaron said.

Kenny can't die.

She's too important.

******

"WHERE'S KENDALL HEART?!" I yelled.

"Sir, please calm down." the nurse said. "She's in the operating room. Are you family?"

"YES!" I said instantly.

"You can go to the café or the waiting room to sit. The doctors are doing everything they can." she said, before briskly walking off.

"Fuck!" I said, causing a few people to stare at me. I didn't care.

I imagined her running across the hall, laughing, and saying that it was a joke. God I wanted her to laugh again.

I wanted her to smile just for me.

My phone rang. Again. Addie.

"What?" I hissed impatiently.

"Baby I--"

"Don't call me right now!" I snapped, ending the call. I had never been so stressed with Addie but I couldn't talk to her right now. Not when Kenny is in a situation like this.

I looked up and saw Erik, Trent and Luke staring at me.

"What?" I barked.

"We have something to tell you." Lucas said. "It's about Addie..."
