Kenny's POV
Hannah dragged me to the food court. Although I didn't feel like eating anything.
Not even cookies.
Eating cookies reminds me of the old times with Chris, and that was just too depressing. He never even called me Cookie anymore.
It was always Kenny.
Kenny or.... Kendall.
I missed him.
There, I said it.
But it didn't lift any weight from my shoulders. It only added more.
I slumped back in my seat and fiddled with my fries. I had no appetite these days. Life was just too hard right now.
"Oh no..." Hannah muttered. I don't think she meant for me to hear, but I did. I turned around.
And my heart was crushed even more. It was already in pieces, but now it's like dust.. the next thing someone could do is walk over and blow it away.
Chris was sitting across from Addie, they were staring into each other's eyes.
They looked so happy together. Smiling and laughing... holding each others hands across the table..
"Kenny...don't look anymore." Hannah said.
"What? Chris deserves to be happy." I said mutely. "If she makes him happy, it's okay for me. Really." I tried to give a little smile.
"No, it's not!" Hannah raised her voice. "This is wrong! You're unhappy!"
I shook my head and laughed bitterly. "So what if I am? Chris's happy. He's happy and that's all that matters to me."
Then I stood up and ran off.
"Ken..." She sighed, "KENNY!" Hannah yelled.

Chris's POV
"KENNY!" a familiar voice yelled.
Kenny?
My head snapped up and I saw Hannah standing in the middle of the food court, holding a couple of bags. She was looking after a girl, who was running out of the place, her chestnut high and low lighted hair flying behind her. It sort of looked like Kenny.
But it was impossible. Kenny hasn't been outside of her house in a month.
I stood up. "Wait here, Addie."
"What's wrong?" she asked, her eyebrows crinkling in concern.
I smiled at her. "Nothing. I just wanted to check on Hannah."
"Who's Hannah?"
I raised my eyebrow at her. "Don't you remember Hannah? I introduced her to you in Starbucks--with Kenny, remember?"
"Oh." she said, but I could tell that she couldn't remember.
I sighed and walked over to Hannah. I tapped her shoulder, and she whipped her head around.
The minute she saw me, she dropped her bags and struck me across the face. The blow was so hard I stumbled back and nearly fell on the floor. I caught my balance before I did.
"Hannah! WHAT THE HELL!?" I yelled, holding my face.
Addie came running towards me, inspecting my injury. She took out her silk handkerchief and dabbed the bloody cut. It had a scratch from Hannah's ring.
"YOU'RE PATHETIC. YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT, CHRIS! LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO KENNY!"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, KENNY HASN'T BEEN OUT OF THE HOUSE IN A MONTH! WHAT COULD I POSSIBLY DO TO HER?"
"IT'S ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT YOU ASS-FACE!" Hannah yelled. Then she looked at Addie, her eyes blazing with fury.
I stood in front of my girlfriend protectively. Hannah looked like she was about to tackle her down.
Hannah broke into sobs. "You broke Kenny's heart. You're a traitor Christian Kingston. A TRAITOR. You promised her you would be there when she needed you. You lied. You were never there. Kenny---oh god!" Hannah's eyes widened in fear.
"Hannah--"
"KENNY!!!" she suddenly screamed. I was going to ask her what's wrong, but she took off, leaving the bags of clothes on the floor.
Confused, I picked them up.
"What's wrong with Kenny?" Addie asked softly. I thought I detected impatience there, but I must've imagined it.
I shook my head. "I--don't know."
That's just it though, I don't know.
How do I not know what's going on with my best friend?
Addie....For the first time in a month, I doubted our relationship.
