Jungkook came out of his bedroom and to the kitchen looking like a snack with his red glittery bomber jacket and his white t-shirt and tight black leather pants. His hair was newly dyed black and parted in the middle, making him now into a full coarse meal. His black sleek boots clatter against the marble floor of the kitchen as he looks around in the cabinets for some snack to eat before he leaves.
"Oh. My. God. Where are you going looking so handsome, baby bunny?" Jungkook turned around surprised. He clearly hadn't expected for anyone to be home. It was Sunday for fucks sake! Weren't they supposed to be on some date like they always were every Sunday?
"Why aren't you and Namjoon hyung on your usual Sunday date?" Jungkook asks, dodging the question successfully. Or so he thought.
"Mm, Joonie's mad at me." Jin sulks. "He thinks I don't love him anymore because i lied to him about their being a crab in the house."
Jungkook winced at that. "Wow hyung, you fucked up big time." He didn't need to know the story but he knew that those little creatures were very important to Namjoon.
"Ugh! I know, you don't have to tell me. I'm thinking of buying him an actual crab. You think they sell them?"
Jungkook shrugged his shoulders, not really knowing if they do or not. "So, tell me. Where are you taking my baby brother this time?"
Jin knew it all. If Jungkook weren't looking so excited and seeming like it took forever to dress up the way he is then he would guess otherwise. But Jungkook gave it all away.
"H-how'd you figure that out?" Jungkook splutters. He couldn't believe he was that easy to see through.
"C'mon Jungkook-ah, we all know you're head over heels for him. Let's just cut the bullshit and come clean with everything."
Jungkook stays quiet for a few seconds as he munches on his favorite snack since he was just a little Kookie, Banana Kick. Those sweet soft yellow puffs he loves so much kept him at ease while Jin's stare weighs him down. Grabbing onto his banana milk to pair with his dry snack, he nervously brings it to his lips and sips from it with a straw. "I-um, it's to early to say that, hyung." Jungkook spoke quietly, eyes adverting from Jin.
"Hmm..." Jin hums. He wasn't so sure that was the case. Like, he could see it in both their eyes. Yet they still seemed to be to scared and in denial of it all. Jin understands that it may be "too soon", that they're just hitting it off but when is it ever NOT "too soon"?
"We talked." Jungkook started, his hands fiddling with the pretty blue straw in his banana milk. "We decided to go along with the flow. So, I am taking him out today and we'll see what happens next." Jin didn't seem convinced. "Slow, hyung. We're taking things slow." Jungkook seemed to be trying to convince himself as he spoke.
"Slow?!" Jim scoffed. "You guys decide to take things slow after you guys have already had sex? I mean, what is there left to lose? You've already went on a date, you've kissed, you've had intimacy. Just get married and have babies and call it a day!"
Jungkook rolled his eyes at Jin. His hyung was crazy but then again getting married and having a family with Jimin didn't sound so bad either.
Slow, Jungkook. You're taking things slow. Can't fuck up this time.
"Jin hyung," Jungkook sighs. "Don't make my mind more complicated than it already is."
"How can things be so complicated for you when it's very clear how you feel about Jimin?" Jin tried to reason with him but it was no use. Jungkook didn't want to admit such a grave thing. Or at least, he was too scared to feel such powerful feelings.
