"What was that about?"

"What was what about?"

"In that house. There was just so much tension. And not the good kind."

"Well..."

Taehyung didn't really know how to phrase it without it sounding horrible. There was no way to make it sound casual even though he saw absolutely nothing in that coconut looking headass who was named Jeon Jungkook. That ugly bastard didn't compare to the high standards he had for the men who crushed on his beautiful best friend. Jimin a good 20/10 while Jungkook barely crossed a 6 in Taehyung's opinion.

"Okay, so my best friend, Jimin, he thinks I have a... thing going on with his boyfriend..." Taehyung avoids eye contact, Iooking out the window of Bogum's SUV.

There is silence for a few seconds, almost like Bogum was thinking what to say.

"Do you?"

Taehyung quickly denies, scrunching his face in disgust. "Eww! No!" Taehyung pretend gags. "Besides, I'm seeing you now."

Instantly, the blush rises up from Bogum's neck to his ears. Taehyung laughs as he knew what he was doing, Bogum didn't know what was coming his way.

Bogum ignored the statement and just continued on their conversation from before. "So then why would he think that you have a "thing" with him?"

"Oh...well, because I live there with him and Jimin didn't even know." Taehyung sighs. "I knew I should have told him but I was so sad at the time of my decision and I didn't want to ruin any sort of happiness he was feeling with that fool anyway. But it backfired so, now we're here..."

"...and I'm now on a date with this handsome boy who'd been after me since high school...." Taehyung trailed off, giggling as Bogum's lips quirk up in a sweet smile.

"...who you've rejected tenfold of times..."

"Hey! The only reason I never dated you was because I thought you were too much for me, out of my league." Taehyung was being truthful, in high school there had been many times he questioned himself why Bogumie had such a big crush on little thot Taehyungie when he could've clearly had anyone he wanted.

Bogum stays quiet again, thoughts and memories circulating his head. "...what's so different now for back then?"

"I've decided to free myself and just do what I want without overthinking it like I used to before."

"Thats...good." Bogum turns his head toward Taehyung and smiles. Taehyung smiles back, eyes locking into each other's. "That's really good Taehyungie."

And just like that, they spend their time conversing until they arrive at a cutesy aesthetic cafe that Bogum was sure Taehyung would absolutely love.
