I turned my alarm off and laid in bed staring at the ceiling.
Why does school have to start so early?
I tossed the covers off and walked to the bathroom. Thankfully, everyone in the house had their own. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I sprayed my hair down with water so it could be mostly dry by the time I got to school. I grabbed a shirt and some jeans out of my closet and slipped them on. It was still kind of early so I went downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning." My mother smiled
"Good morning." I grabbed a poptart out of the pantry.
"Not dressing up today?"
"Nope. I have nobody to impress." I laughed
"Make sure you put on a jacket. It's chilly out today." She paused. "Raven! Get down here before you miss the bus!" My mom yelled as she walked off.
I grabbed my jacket from the coat closet and walked outside to put it in my car. Deuce was already outside about to go.
"Can you take a picture of me?" I asked
He looked at me then sighed. "Hurry up." He held his hand out.
He snapped a few pictures for me and they came out good.
"Gracias, mi pequeña fotógrafa (Thanks, My little photographer)" I poked his cheek
He swatted my hand away and got into his car. I posted my picture on Instagram then scrolled down my timeline.
