She sighed. "I miss you Kayla. My life is so boring without you."
"You have Tania, next."
"I honestly didn't mean anything that happened. I was just feeling like I was invisible. Everyone always gravitated towards you and I can't lie, I did get a little jealous but I shouldn't have because your aren't even a cocky person."
I simply nodded
"You know what, fuck it. Nevermind. Can't be nice to bitches."
"You came to me but whatever." I shut the door.
This entire day has pretty much been ruined at this point.
"Is the food done?" I stepped into the kitchen.
"Yes!" Eli ran in before his mother could speak
"That boy know when food is done." She laughed and shook her head.
One month later
"You excited?" I grabbed Dave's hand. His album release party was tonight.
"Hell yea. I worked hard on this album."
We walked into the building and everyone clapped as Dave made it to the front.
I watched him as he talked so passionately about his music. He really took his time with his album. 'They wanna kill you' began playing and everyone's head began nodding.
"Hey girl." Diamond appeared beside me
"Hey." I smiled "you made it."
"You know I wouldn't miss this. Gotta support the bro."
I laughed and watched Dave rap along to his songs.
"You look nice." Diamond complimented
"Thank you. Dave insisted that I wear this dress."
"His album sounds really good. He did his thing with this one forreal."
"I know. I'm so proud."
He was now on song 11 which is called Alone and it's featuring Jacquees. It was my second favorite, my first being Baby.
"I don't wanna sound like I need you But it's so hard to leave you alone I was thirsty for the kill for real It feel like I needed to bone" Dave rapped while looking at me
I winked at him and he slyly bit his lip.
"I saw that. Ya nasties." Zo hit my arm
"What you talking about?" I acted confused.
"Mhmm." He looked away and I laughed

Dave was walking around talking to the people and fans that came to the party. I stayed in my area with my friends while he did his business. He had his album on loop and I could tell everyone was feeling it.
Dave walked back to the front of the room and picked up the mic. The music got low and he tapped the mic to get everyone's attention.
"Come here." He looked at me.
I slowly got up from my seat and walked to him.
He turned to me and began talking. "We met in the most unexpected way. You came into my life during a time when I thought Love didn't exist. You came in and loved me and my daughter unconditionally and that's so rare. You stand by my side and motivate me to do my best every day and I'm so thankful for that. I just gotta ask you one thing." He paused and got down on one knee. "Will you spend the rest of your life with me?"
I rapidly nodded and watched as he slid the ring on my finger. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
"I love you baby." He spoke
"I love you too."
"Bitch! Let me see." Zo and Diamond ran over and Dave put me down.
I turned around and held my hand up.

"It's so nice." I watched as it glistened in the dimly lit room
"It looks so pretty on your hand. I knew it would." Diamond smiled
"You knew about this?!"
"Of course. He came to me because he knew I would know what you like."
"You get on my nerves." I poked her shoulder then hugged her.
"You gotta post it on instagram." Zo spoke. "Flex on them bitches. You got their mcm, had his baby, now you about to have his last name. Period."
"I'll do that tomorrow after I get my fill in." I laughed "I just want to enjoy the moment right now." I smiled widely looking down at my hand
