It's been two weeks since I've had Grayson and honestly, I've loved every moment. Seeing Kairi interact with her brother is so heartwarming. She loves him so much.

"Gentle" Kai spoke as she rubbed his head.
I smiled. "Yes. You gotta be gentle because he's little."
"You doing ok? You need anything?" Dave's mom walked into the room.
She's been a huge help since I came home from the hospital.
"No ma'am. I'm fine."
She walked to the side of the bed and looked at Grayson. "He's just so precious." She cooed. "And so are you." She tapped Kairi's nose. "Grandma's babies." She smiled before leaving out the room.
I laid Grayson on the bed beside Kairi. She likes to 'watch' him for me while do little things. She's such a good big sister.
I walked into the closet and looked through my clothes. I no longer have a baby bump so I can fit into my regular clothes.
"Baby?" Dave walked into the room
"Yea?"
"You talked to your mom?" He asked
I rolled my eyes. "No"
My mother has been to see us once since Grayson was born. I don't know what the issue is now.
"Well is she coming? I thought everyone was going to be here. My family is here."
"Rae, Deuce, Trice, my dad and Diamond all agreed. My mother has yet to say anything. You know how her mood swings go."
"The point of family dinner is to have the entire family present but I understand." Dave smiled.
I continued looking through clothes until I found what I wanted to wear. I pulled my hair up into a high bun and got into the shower to begin getting ready.
An hour later
I walked downstairs holding Grayson. I could hear everyone talking and low music was playing.
Rae was the first one over to me and she grabbed the baby out of my hands. She loved him so much and I love to see it.
Surprisingly, my mother was sitting on the couch beside my dad and they were talking to Dave's parents. I smiled at her when she looked over at me but she didn't return the smile so I already know she's about to have some bullshit with her.
Not wanting to bring my mood down, I walked into the kitchen to check on the food. Dave's mom wanted to cook for everyone and it smells amazing.
I turned around from the stove and gasped loudly because my mother was standing there with her arms crossed.
