"Thanks for keeping her." Crystal mumbled and forced a smile on her face before rolling her eyes.
I copied her actions and closed the door. She has been dropping Kairi off with me almost every weekend. And majority of the time she's with Dave's parents during the week.
My spring break starts tomorrow and I graduate next month. I briefly spoke to my parents twice since I been here and they're still acting the same. I was able to go get the rest of my stuff out of my room. Rae texted me and let me know they were gone.
"Trice!" I yelled as I walked upstairs. "You ready to braid my hair?" I walked into her bedroom.
"Why did I agree to do this." She fell back onto her bed.
"I don't know but let's get to it." I laid on her bed.
"What color do you want?"
"What color do you have?"
She rolled off the bed and walked into her closet.
My phone rung and I slid my finger across the screen to answer the FaceTime call.
"What you doing?" He asked
"About to get my hair braided."
"How long is that going to take?"
"Umm. About 3 to 4 hours."
"Cool. I got you a flight to Texas. You coming to chill with me during your break."
"Seriously?"
"Hell yea. It's been two months since I seen you."
"Awww. You really miss the kid." I laughed
"Chill out." He smiled
"Send me all the info and i'll get my sister to drop me off at the airport when she get done with my hair."
He nodded and smoke escaped from his mouth. I could literally sit here and just watch him all day.
"Stop staring at me like that. Weirdo." He laughed
"Shut up. I can look at you if I want to."
"Oh word?" He dropped the phone and the camera was now pointing at the ceiling.
"You childish as hell for that." I laughed loudly.
"You just hurry up. Your flight leaves at 4:45."
"Ok. See you later." I ended the call.
Trice came back with a box full of hair and I picked the color that was closest to my hair color. I sat on the floor watching TV while she parted my hair.
