We both got into the car and Dave pulled out of the driveway. "I love my parents but that whole argument was uncalled for." I shook my head. "So stuck on me going to college. For what? So I can be unhappy for the rest of my life? I'll pass."
I don't understand my mom right now. It's like the older I got the worse she got. I see exactly why Trice left. I never realized how controlling she could be until I got to high school.

My dad has been apologizing on behalf of my mother nearly every day since the argument at dinner. I don't care how many times he says she's sorry, until I hear those words out of her mouth, fuck that apology.
"Aye" Eli yelled. "Watched this!"

We watched him flip down the beach and he ended up falling at the end.
"Haha! That's what you get for trying to show off!" I laughed.
Dave decided to take a quick trip. Both of us have been working so much lately, he wanted to spend time with me. Diamond and Zo came along but Mina was back in Atlanta for school.
"Fuck you!" He laughed
"Come out here." Dave spoke as he walked into the water.
"You going a little too far. I can't swim." I shook my head
"I gotchu." He smiled. "The water feels good, come on, enjoy yourself." He held his arms up.
"Hold your arms up again." I walked towards him and snapped a picture.
