"Hey Trice." I smiled and threw my bookbag in the back of her car. "Thanks for picking me up."
"No problem. You staying with me tonight?" She asked as she pulled off
"Yep." I nodded and turned the radio up
Track practice was extra long today and we didn't finish until a whole hour after it was supposed to be over.
"You still dating that boy?" Trice asked
She never cared for me dating Christian and she never hid her feelings about.
"Why don't you like him?" I laughed
"He just seem so shady." She shrugged "Anyway. You going out with me tonight?
"To where?"
"1 OAK."
"On a Wednesday?" I questioned
"Yea. It's usually lit on Wednesdays."
"Yea. I'll go."
"Cool." She nodded. "Mom told me that you're going with her to Aunt Gee house." She laughed
"What?" I looked over at her. "She didn't tell me nothing about that."
"Well now you know. Have fun." She teased.
I sat back in the seat with my arms crossed.
Dave
"What we on tonight?" My brother walked from out of the kitchen with a sandwich
"I don't know what you doing but I have a club to hit up tonight."
"I'll be there." He nodded and walked off.
There was loud banging on my front door and my whole mood changed because I knew who it was. I ran my hand down my face before walking to the door and opening it.
"Was poppin." Crystal pushed passed me and walked into my house

"Where my baby?" She turned around and looked at me
"Upstairs in her room."
"You better not have had no bitches around my baby." She walked upstairs. "Cause if you did, that's your ass."
"Man. Shut the hell up." I followed behind her
"Mommy's baby." She walked over and picked Kairi up from out of her crib. She must've just woken up. "Where's her jacket?"
I walked to her closet and pulled a jacket out, handing it to Crystal.
"See you next week baby daddy." Crystal laughed before walking out of the room.
"Drop her off at my moms. I have a interview Friday. I'll pick her up from there."
"Mhmm. Let me find out you fucking around with these bitches and me and Kairi will be out."
"You sound stupid as hell. I wish you would try and take my child from me because I moved on from your ass."
"Try me." She walked out the house
I sighed loudly and walked to my bedroom. I laid across my bed. I decided to try to take a nap since it was still early.
12:38AM
I grabbed my chains off my dresser and put them on. I was about to leave and my brother came from out of nowhere, fully dressed.
"You ready?" He asked
"You wild." I laughed and shook my head.
I left out the house and headed to 1 OAK. When we pulled up the line was down the block. I hoped out and went inside. It was packed. I made my way to my section and my boys were already there waiting on me. I grabbed the bottle of henny and poured myself a glass full.
"Looks like we got Dave East in the building." The DJ spoke
I stood in my section and vibed out to the music.

"You look fine." Trice sighed. "Come on, we're already late. Shit probably packed as hell now."
"It's literally 10 minutes away. Chill." I applied lip gloss to my lips
"I'm leaving." She walked away.
I grabbed my phone and walked out the house behind her. She was already in the car by the time I reached it.
We listened to the radio as she drove. Since I was with her, she pulled around back and parked. Whenever I go out with her, we always slip in through the back.
"Let's turn up." She yelled as we walked in.
I walked passed the DJ booth and out onto the dance floor. My sister found me and handed me a drink.
"It's packed as fuck tonight." She yelled over the music.
I nodded and took a sip of my drink. Bounce It by Juicy J came on and I did a slight twerk while I held my drink. As I was dancing, I kept getting the feeling that someone was watching me but I brushed it off and kept dancing.
Two songs later, I was out of breath and starting to feel the effects of that drink. I looked up into the VIP section and that's when I spotted him. He was already looking down at me. He simply nodded to acknowledge him seeing me see him.
A few seconds later, my phone was vibrating and it was a DM from him. We exchanged a few messages before I put my phone away.

I looked up at the section again and laughed. I found my sister by the bar and she ordered another drink for me. We didn't stay too long because I did have to go to school but I already know it was going to be a shitty day trying to focus on work with a hangover.
