"We having a lit ass party." Diamond answered for me.
"Yea, this weekend. I probably won't do anything tomorrow though, since its Tuesday." I shrugged
We finished up our lunch and threw the trash away. I was talking to Diamond as we walked out of the cafeteria. I bumped into someone once we walked through the doors.
"Excuse you." Ming scrunched up her face.
I rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"I know that bitch heard me talking to her." Ming spoke.
I waved her off and walked into the gym.
"Ooo girl, you better than me." Zo shook his head. "Cause Ming would've been beat into some shrimp fried rice today." He laughed
"I can't with you." I laughed.
"Let's go to the library. I don't want to be in here today." Mina whined.
We turned around about to walk out the door but coach Wilder stopped us.
"And where are ya'll trying to run off to?"
"The library." I smiled
He squinted his eyes, looking at us. "Mhmm. I'ma call Ms. Williams in a few minutes to see if that's where ya'll at"
"Dang. You don't trust us?" Diamond asked jokingly
"Hell. No." Coach Wilder pointed. "Now get outta here." He shooed us away
We laughed and walked to the library. Once we got there, it was completely empty. I could take me a nice nap in here. I sat at one of the tables and got myself in the perfect position to go to sleep. I closed my eyes and my phone rung. I sighed and flipped my phone over. Dave was calling me on FaceTime.
"What?" I answered the call.
"What? Nah let's try this again." He hung up and called right back
"Hey." I forced a smile on my face.
"That's better. What you doing?"
"In the library. I was about to take a nap."
